What issues are/were you having with your MTX-L?

The gauge gets stuck at "Htr" indefinitely. I have tried recalibrating the sensor multiple times and it has not improved the situation. Innovate's support has been responsive, but not terribly helpful. The gauge/sensor only has about 500 miles on it.

Mine will bounce around, then gets stuck and displays E8! I haven't called Innovative yet. Not sure it will help! How do you reset it?

Thanks for the information guys. I will look for an alternative gauge to recommend.

To recalibrate it, you want to take the sensor out of the exhaust pipe to expose it to free air, then unplug the sensor at the harness (likely under the hood somewhere), then turn the car on and let the gauge run through it's cycle. It will give an E2 error (no sensor) and wipe the calibration. After that, reconnect the sensor harness (but leave the sensor in free air) and power the gauge. It will go through a new calibration. After that, reinstall the sensor and hope for the best! :ugh2:

For the sake of feedback. I got my pod in and it looks really clean. The build quality is good, the part looks like it came with the car, and the customer service is unreal. No complaints here and i am very satisfied.

Sorry to derail doesn't anyone have any pics on how they routed the wires for innovate lc1/lc2? Wanting to know easiest way to route the sensor wiring

Second for positive feedback. I got my dual gauge pod pillar, so clean, looks stock, great work and great communication. Should be able to post some pics by next week. Buy with confidence!

Through the firewall or down the dash?

For through the firewall I entered an empty grommet on the left side near the clutch pedal. For going from the a-pillar down the side of the dash i recommend pulling the door rubber and routing wire there.

martin82 09-01-2014 07:19 PM
