cheapest nismo kit?

where can i get the best deal for the nismo body kit?

shabarivas 07-08-2009 10:39 AM

no where - lol .... you are NOT going to find any nismo owner who wants to sell you his bumper... and no one makes any replica kits of it yet... so you really couldnt get one...

nogoodname 07-08-2009 10:56 AM

there is only one guy that plans on buying a nismo and wants to trade his nismo body for a stock one.

shabarivas 07-08-2009 11:54 AM

hahah thats hellla stupid of him... he should buy a base and upgrade the springs / coils... I guess he gets a seam welded chasis

nogoodname 07-08-2009 12:00 PM

he wants a genuine nismo model but is willing to trade the body

You should just trade in your base model with 200 miles on it and give the dealer $14k for the Nismo (or $12k for the touring).

SpawnAeroJohn 07-08-2009 12:55 PM

Like we said before. If we get interest, a few deposites to lock in a few people, and a nismo owner to come down here. We will create molds and replicas of the kit. Or we would need a nismo vin number. I take it to the dealer that we get all our parts from and theyll deliver us the kit with in a week.

They don't do that for the 370Z like they did for the 350Z. The stock chasis was stiff enough for the engineers.

Send me more information about this. I'm the one (openly) pushing for the CF Nismo kit.

shabarivas 07-08-2009 01:31 PM

Ok - pleaseee make one in non-CF as well... I am only interested in the rear bumper + sides... Maybe some nice nismo owner will bring his ride in :)

when the demo arrives at the dealer, just have a look and just happen to have copied the vin on a piece of paper...lol...

or **cough**cough**cell phone pic**cough**cough**

shabarivas 07-08-2009 03:53 PM

No - they usually contact the dealer to make sure that the vin was sold to so-and-so...

nogoodname 07-08-2009 03:55 PM

damn, nismo bumpers are top secret stuff, need background checks

SpawnAeroJohn 07-08-2009 04:35 PM

Thats why we would need a 370Z nismo owner who is willing to have their car used as the car that "needs a new kit". Either way we all know eventually some company will have the kit. If not us then some other company will have something at least before the years end. Its not computer science its bumpers. Itl get out eventually. Good news for the company who gets their hands on it first. Better news for the consumers :P.

nogoodname 07-08-2009 05:05 PM

that's whenever nismo owner pops up here...lol ........and near you also...

shabarivas 07-08-2009 05:39 PM

Ideally we can convince a new nismo owner near you to take the car in to your shop. I mean i would think the demand for these would be high. You should offer the guy who lets you model after his kit some incentives :p

nogoodname 07-08-2009 05:42 PM

major incentive for that owner = raking the funds for you

SpawnAeroJohn 07-08-2009 06:30 PM

Basically if a nismo owner *hint hint* would come by and say "Hey, I have a nismo body kit and you can make a mold of it for a trade"

Id offer the first kit free (carbon fiber, not the carbon fiber for looks, it would be made of undirectional carbon fiber and primed. This would be souly for weight savings not for the looks of CF) Or anything else they would like of equal value.

thispecialk 07-08-2009 07:38 PM

Sounds like hard work okay new question where can I buy the nismo s lip kit for cheap

SpawnAeroJohn 07-08-2009 08:21 PM

I think all nismo products like that are in the same hard to find catagory. I might be wrong Im not sure. But put it this way.

If its good its not cheap, if its cheap its not good.

If you buy a body kit for 500 dollars then you will be paying 1800 to have it fixed, fitted, and painted.

If you buy a $1000 body kit, then youll probobly pay $800 to have it painted because it should fit right with out modifications.

Roughly that is.

Nismo S-Tune Aero Package Nissan 370Z 09+

It's a bit pricey for a kit that ruins the clean lines of the 370Z. You can actually get all the parts from the dealership for cheaper than that. Just trying to help.
