Carbon Fiber Dash Kits

I've seen a couple post these kits installed on everything except our 370z. Here are pictures of my carbon kit installed for future references. It's a hate it or love it type deal.

Looks good. Some of those pieces I haven't seen done before. Who did the work?

Not one problem up to date. Excellent quality. Remin makes them in various carbon fiber colors. I oredered yhrough carid.com. I will warn you, they took about two mknths for it to come In. It was worth the wait though.

Not bad at all. What did it run? Carbon signal wants $500 for their carbon fiber kit and Evor wants about $900 for their carbon fiber kit. Which I found to be ridiculous and did not offer it in any other colors.

just so everyone knows this is not real carbon fiber. this is a stick on overlay that gives the appearance of whatever it is replicating. it is a flexable plastic sticker of sorts. does not look bad but is not to be compared with the stuff that carbon fiber element and carbon signal does. so dont try to compare apples to oranges.

I just checked it out for myself. It’s a steal over the vendors.
$101.40 with free shipping will get you the main kit seen here REMIN® - Main Kit - 2011 Nissan 370Z Dash Kit. Lots of colors, layouts and carbon fibers to choose from. $27.30 will get you the exterior kit seen here REMIN® - Exterior Kit - 2011 Nissan 370Z Exterior Trim. The exterior kit im not to fond of looks a lil cheezy but posted it regardless.

Those pieces from carbon fiber element and such are made from real carbon fiber. most pieces are wrapped . the ones from carbon signal are a slip on so if you decide to take it off later down the road you can with out tearing it up. But they are made with real carbon fiber. These stick on dash kits are just a sticker like I said. I actually have this in my car but only used certain pieces just to accent certain areas otherwise it would look to ricey IMHO. (I also have the carbon signal pieces and pieces from Carbon fiber element as well so I know the differences here) To each his own but it is like the stick on vents you can buy at pepboys. you pay more for putting real vents in your car or you can stick it on. which one looks better to you? Your call. Just putting the facts out there.

that whole kit looks awesome. for the price it seems like a good deal.

RE- read my post above.

If it looks just as GOOD, like i said. Why pay more. Obviously if these look tacky and cheesy of course we'd pay more for the real thing.

SINCE you have both, do the forum a favor and take a side by side of things.

You'd be more help for the people deciding.

Here you go. the sliver is the pieces in question around the radio face. looks ok on a flat service but you cannot get the depth/curvature that you can with carbon fiber that has been molded/wrapped. When I ordered mine they did not have the red carbon fiber so I may order it again to see what it looks like just for the hell of it but as you can see I only used the pieces to cover the black over the radio face. the rest really made the interior look cheap. and just so you know the only pieces that overlap from this kit and what others vendors supply are the door pieces that go around the controls.

I have the same kit from Carid. It's a decent kit and I only used a few pieces, but thinking about replacing with black CF from Carbon Fiber Elements in the future:
