engine dress up advice?

so i hate popping the hood on my car and having it look pretty much like every other 370 with intakes. however, with my car being silver i feel somewhat handcuffed on things i can do to my engine cover/strut tower brace. anyone have any ideas on how i could get a little more flash under the hood?

Password JDM piececs are nice.
Strut bar you can do a polished black.
Accent colors through your nuts & bolts create a simple look but a little color.
Better hoses, blue, red, etc.

+1 for this stuff.

My car is red so the cover was easy to make red for an accent, i left the bar black because i added a few other red items such as the hoses a red and black oil cap, red and black rad cap, black dress up bolts. Red and black theme under my hood.

You could always do some subtle accents here and there even though your silver. Or repaint the Injens a different color to make them stand out more. Red looks good on the Silver Z's

Some blue bolt caps, blue silicon hoses, carbon fiber work, paint for the engine cover and some other odds and ends and viola...

On a neutral color car ... color accents work better IMO. Color matching accents to the color of the car can look tacky. Like a woman that matches her make-up and jewelry to the same color as her dress lol.

+1 for Password JDM pieces.

Here's a Silver Nismo with PWJDM carbon fiber covers :

Color accenting works extremely well when you have a secondary color like a leather interior ... 40th Anniversary Red or the Persimmon Leather. That way you can tie in those colors into the engine bay as well.

^^ haha i wish. but as much as i've tried, i still cant seem to sh!t money. i was thinking of maybe accenting with a gunmetal gray under the hood. thought that might look cool with the light silver

I'm always one for carbon fiber :) You could always get a silver color weave :)
