dead bug in headlight housing
so out of no where i found a dead bug in the headlight, which is like a month after i moded my lights. I have no idea how the hell it got in there. Do uou guys think i can just take it out from the behind fender wall? i know that i can just shake it out of the housing but taking replica amuse off and put it back on is a huge pain. ill just some picture later

haha I think this happened to someone else on here. Just leave it in there as a trophy

Haha Alex! I knew it was you after seeing the title.
Best advice is to shake it out. You can blow compressed air into it to get it away from that area but it also means you're blowing dust into it too. I'd say take your time to remove everything to get it out. |
You can probably use a vacuum attachment to suck it out. I dropped my LED in there when installing and the vacuum almost worked to get that out...

I would suggest blowing some compressed air in through the bottom until you get it either somewhere you can't see it or get it out completely.
Most likely you're going to have to deal with it just being out of sight. |

Yeah this happened to me too
I might use this as an excuse to open up my headlights and paint the housing black. http://i1203.photobucket.com/albums/...s/IMAG1270.jpg |
We'll fix it on saturday.

Wow that's so strange. Shouldn't happen to a never opened headlight.

I had a spider get stuck in my old rx-8's tail light. I would try removing the headlight hitting it with an air gun.

Yeah between my dumbass and E/W, we should be able to knock your lights out pretty quickly.

Hey, if it gets in front of the lens, does it make like the "Bat Signal" ?
Then EVERYBODY will want one! :rofl2: |

Or you could possibly try an air nozzle and blowing it out? |
