Those are the same wheels that I ordered. I thought the bolts around the face would be black also. Is that the MDB color on the face?

Didn't think about color matching the headlights but seriously thinking about color matching the door handles. Thinking about the front/rear emblems and the FI exhaust also. Don't know if it's even possible. Got the base brakes also and thinking about painting them matt black.

Don't know if it's just me but the chrome/steel and anodized bronze don't really mesh.

Got any pictures of the whole car? My wheels are about 4-6 weeks away.

The whole car is actually almost done but ive been keeping it hush hush until its 100% finished. The whole exterior of the car is basically carbon fiber... will post the second its finished.

The wheels honestly i love. For some reason the vendor sent me red chrome lug nuts and told me thats all they had available :/ so i bought the ones you see online. Also the center caps were chrome and had to resend them to get the black ones. I wish the studs where black but what can you do.

What size did you get? I got 20x9.5+15 and 20x11.5 +5

Did you order them from Ravspec? They put on the 5Zigen Red lug nuts on my invoice but it will be replaced with Project Kic Neo chrome lugs.

I ordered the 20x9.5+22 and 20x10.5 +15. Lowered on Swifts and planning to run -1.2 to -2 rear camber and 305 tires. Don't want to stick out of the fender or run too much camber. It's my DD. :)

Can't wait until you unveal your photos. What tire pressure are you running?

864Zbeast 08-09-2012 03:19 PM

Sick!!!

Carbon_z 08-09-2012 03:24 PM

not sure what pressure it is but they are nitrogen filled. I have H&R lowering springs, SPC front and rear camber arms with bolts. Got alignment and all done to it so rides fine. Tires I got 305 25 20 and 255 35 20. I listened to somebodies advise on here and the 255 35 20 isnt the recommend tire because its an inch taller. make sure to get a 255 30 20. Otherwise your tires will look an inch larger up front.

here is a few teasers but the kit isnt on or the headlights... also the pillars have been done in carbon fiber along with side pillars.

Going back to your headlights. The thing with anodized bronze is that it looks brighter/dark at different angles. Don't know if a color match is really possible. I will find out when I start color matching.

Carbon_z 08-09-2012 04:01 PM

yea thats what I mentioned originally. The paint obviously wont match 100% due to the anodized finish but hey it was an idea. Do you plan on painting your handles, powder coat?? I see you have taken light into consideration as well which is smart

future370zzz 08-09-2012 04:57 PM

^Yeah, I need to talk to a couple body shops to see what the best method is (paint/powdercoat) to get a close match. Don't know what the door handles are made of but it will factor into it. Emblems I know are plastic and the exhaust is stainless steel. I might go with a combination of black and bronze where possible.

I will probably need to pick a shade of bronze that I'm happy with and that is in between how the anodized bronze could look like. It will probably be in the darker shade of bronze to blend in with the color of my car (Black cherry).

Those wheels are one of my favorites, it will look killer once the car is all carbon.

Carbon_z 08-10-2012 10:47 AM

my favorite wheels as well. Once I saw them I had to have them. The Bronze is what sold me.

simota1 08-10-2012 04:22 PM
