Leather Bra

Does anyone know where or what kind of Leather bra will fit the Nismo Z! I need this for my cross country drive next month. Thanks :driving:

how about painter's tape? works just as good, looks just as bad, and cheap.

Couple layers of plasti Dip?

I heard pig's skin works too, and it will be grilled under the sun so you can eat them after the trip

Get a clear-bra. You will NOT regret it.

:icon18:

Either this or clearbra, which you can keep for the rest of the car's lifetime without getting frowns everywhere you go.

A good wax will do wonders.

Clear bra is your best option!

Another image comes to mine when you speak leather bras:roflpuke2:

Although somewhat expensive, a clear plastic film applied to the bumper cover pays dividends in ease of washing the Z. I have had the factory bra in the pass; the downside is removing it when wet and waiting for it to dry prior to re-installing so it does not cloud the clearcoat.

considering i only have 2 tiny detents (not chips) from rocks over the last 3yrs, i think im good without clearbra. :icon17: different story on the rockers though, i use clearbra there and im glad i did for front tire kickup.

wax does well for bugs and tar/contaminants, but not rocks. painter's tape actually work very well for most rock impacts. do a few layers on the very front of the car. i speak from experience driving 2200miles. it's refreshing just to peel it off once at destination and walla, no bugs, no chips. just clean off any residue you might have with some RC car motor spray/WD40/GooGone, and wax afterwards.

Yea I know it looks like crap and clearbra is amazing in comparison. I don't have $1000 bucks to spend on a clearbra right now. Im driving from Seattle to Tampa and back so I need some protection and I cant find a condom that big  I think I will probably just do painters tape. Thanks guys

Word. Painters tape ftw.

By the way, you can likely get a clear-bra for the full bumper for 3-400. I had the bumper, fenders, entire hood, rocker panels, and mirrors done for ~1100ish. From a VERY good shop to boot.

I ordered this stuff wolf chemicals makes called "the mask" its clear spray on drys hard shell and rinses off with water ill let you guys know how it works after 3300 miles.

Leather bras just ruin the paint anyway... Clear bra is the only way to go permanently... Painters tape of course for a short trip.

I wouldn't bank on a spray to protect your paint from rock chips... Even zaino isn't going to stop rock chips...

Here in Iowa add another six to eight hundred.
