Also, how has the lip held up? I would probably paint the side pieces body color, or I could just have it all in carbon fiber.

Alstann, can you give me any tips on how you were able to fit and secure the EVO-R fang cover? The only thing I have not tried is to JB-Weld it into place (cuz when it's on, it's on for-e-ver). I'd really rather just use mounting tape, but it won't stay in place since I have to really bend the whole thing.

thx in advance,
cmad

Mine is holding great as well.. IMO this is one of the cleanest and affordable lips out there for our cars. Good luck with your decision, can't go wrong with either.

What offset are your wheels?

This is a very, very old thread but I've been considering picking one of these up myself for my black cherry Z. Two things:
1. Yours is SICK. The red and black work perfectly with your car's color scheme.
2. Did you have any trouble getting them painted since they're FRP and not metal? Sometimes body shops get all bent outta shape if they paint plastic pieces. I'm not too sure if it would be worth it to color match on my car since the black cherry is already so dark, but I don't know.

Since I'm not lowering my car due to my exhaust hanging kind of low as it is (and lots of sharp angle curbs to climb in my area), I think this will give the front end a more aggressive look.

Hate to bump an old thread, but does anyone have more pictures of solid black (non-painted side) lips?

Nope, the Ikon Motorsports one you were looking at on ebay is a thin plastic copy of evo r's. It's not bad for the price but the evo r is definitely better quality and fitment is better. Jay at evo r does sell them on ebay sometimes though.

Just a heads up. On your website, your main page shows it as out of stock. When you click on the item the lip kit page shows it as available.

Do you know when you will have them available again?

EVOR 08-06-2018 08:26 PM

Thanks. Waiting time is about 4 weeks.
