Not as big of a seller as they thought?

theDreamer 06-19-2009 02:33 PM

I saw this and am soo tempted, I really almost do not care if it is wired up for me, I just think it looks better than the black out butt.

Price drop.... lol

2theextreme 06-19-2009 03:16 PM

I decided to go for it....obviously since I was able to quote a full shipping price, huh? Gonna have Altered put it on for me in a few weeks. When I go back for another dyno test....knock two birds out with one stone!

Has anyone found a switch yet that doesn't have the heated seat markings on it?
That's the only reason I haven't picked one up yet.

I don't have a touring model but I think a quick sand and a nice coat of flat black paint may work fine on the switch.

Ordering my light now.

Are people who install these wiring it into the backup light? Wiring it all the way to a new switch to run on its on? How or what are you wiring this light to?

I like the idea of a flashing light when backing up. Might just have to get one now.

If nobody beats me to it, I should be receiving it next week. I'll be happy to open the box and snap some photos and upload it here. ;)
