Momo automatico shift knob installed

Installed a Momo Automatico shift knob today. Had to modify slightly to work but it seems to function OK. Much nicer feel than stock and definetely nicer looking IMO. I know I need a boot but I like it the way it is. It's an auto so I would rather it not look like a manual. 7AT FTW!

I ordered it on Amazon from Crowders LLC. Just google Momo Automatico shift knob. It also comes in a black leather I believe. Not cheap but the quality of Momo knobs seems pretty good. It basically just grips onto the shifter shaft with 3 set screws. It came with rubber grommets closed on one end which I had to cut the top off so it would work. The button on top just pushes down to release the shift lock. You have to set it in the right spot on the shaft so it will fully depress and release the inner white plastic shaft which is the shift lock.

Seems the choices for automatic shift knobs is very limited. It came down to this or the one offered on here by UAM.

I've had my Momo installed for about a year and a half and it's booted. You can install it without a grommet with no ill effects.

So the only modification you had to make was cutting some rubber off one piece? That doesn't sound bad at all!

It's $109 on Amazon, which is pricey but not crazy expensive either.

Ya I probably didn't need the grommet but I figured it might help to keep the upper part of the knob centered on the shaft.
Install took 15 minutes.
It does get very hot in the sun like all metal knobs would I assume.
I keep a small cloth on the little shelf behind the passenger seat in case of occasional spills so I just drop that on top when I get out and all is good.
