So my question is this---- If I am just replacing the lens part do I really need to remove the inside panel?? I am replacing my lens with a tinted one. Do I just need to pry it out??

I'm not sure about that one, maybe pm Simota1...He is the guy that did the DIY in that link.

I am keeping it there but I have a tinted one to put there to match my tinted taillights
