Just purchased the GTR lenses :P the Canada shipping is brutal.. I understand your pain TripleBlkZ. Now how bright are these LEDs. LEDs are supposed to draw less current right? so am I correct to assume that getting LED map lights will greatly reduce battery usage?

quick up date Courtesy Nissan was very good on getting this corrected, the lenses I recieved were for an Altima....right now the clear lenses are on national back order min of 45 business for them to get more stock. So if anyone is thinking of ordering these for the spring/summer better order now..

Yeah, there were probably about 4 sets in the country - I mean how many GTR's are going to need new lenses? Right? Probably the same deal as the GTR button - dealers were probably trying to figure out why all these GTR's were needing replacement buttons all the sudden until someone clued them in!

LOL I agree. I mean, there's <7k GTRs sold in the US. I'm sure there should be more than 7k Z owners with the GTR button.

And now with the lenses, same thing. I'm sure many of us will do this mod since it's fairly cheap.

But upon hearing the national back order, that sucks to hear. :icon14: Oh well.

It's all personal preference of course. IMO, I like them because

- they're from a GTR (automatic :nutswinger: like the GTR button)
- these clear lenses match the trunk light because the trunk light isn't frosted.

Just got an email notification that mine shipped out today! :woot:

Install, before/after pics when I get them done.

Pretty much agree with you on this, plus I think the factor ones look cheap.

For ~$20 or us Canadians ~$40 shipped it a cheap mod and if I don't like the looks i am sure it will be a easy resell.

When did you place your order?

Did you buy the GTR ones? Or from Evo-R

I bought the GTR OEM ones.

If I can go factory (Nissan parts), I'd prefer that route.

Hmm might call them tomorrow, I ordered mine early December but received the wrong one then had to have them reordered early Jan. It's good you got yours but I would be disappointed if mine are delayed to orders after my first order in Dec just because they had to reorder on something they screwed up. Not really in a rush but really curious on how they look installed and with my JW LED's, I don't think pictures do it justice.

FYI, I didn't order from Courtesy Nissan. I have my own personal favorite Nissan dealer place I get my goodies from :happydance:
