Chips?

Are Z's prone to rock and debris chips? I have had my new Z for less then a month and already have 4 chips. This morning I noticed a big chip on my hood.

Is there a good product that works to repair chips or would Z touch up paint just do the trick?

Yes, the paint is very soft.

Touch up paint is probably your best bet, though others may have other suggestions.

It may be worthwhile to look at the addition of a clear bra--many that are concerned with the condition of the front plate add one.

You live and learn. For your next car you'll be prepared and get a clearbra as soon as you purchase it. Our cars are prone to chips and such, just the way it is.

I bought mine used, and the previous owner or dealer tried to touch up some chips on the hood, but the color is wrong, looks horrible when my car is freshly cleaned (makes the odd color dots noticeable).

On the other end, you just have to realize its just a car, and won't last forever. Use it, have fun, take care of it within reason, and you'll love it. Don't be too OCD about it or you'll end up constantly wondering about it, checking it, wiping it clean, etc, and won't be happy because you'll be worried.
