AutoTecknic Carbon Fiber Dual Air Ducts + Stillen Gen3?

I found these alternatives air ducts to the Mines which are utterly expensive...

But was wondering if they would fit with the Gen3 installed? I dont have the intake yet so I'm not sure if they could hit the tubes or the filter..

It would depend on the depth, maybe you could write the manufacturer to find out the dimensions?

But as for using with the G3's, I'm wondering why, since the inlet location will be way behind the filters? Doesn't seem like it will improve flow that much...

Going to need to cut the excess length to clear the piping.

Just a warning from personal experience. I had a duct on my 350. Hit flood waters, sucked into engine. Engine croaked. Plus a lot of other stuff.
That's why I have a 370. :driving:

:iagree:

I'm going to be buying these soon also. But I'm defiantly mounting mine further on the outside of the bumper instead of towards the center where the filters are. Reguardless trimming is going to have to take place.

I could make some foam molding to cover the vents when raining... Or cover them with waterproof material (As those used in intake shields, air goes thru but blocks water)

I've been driving under rainy conditions with these vents for several months and they held up well, no signs of water in the GEN 3 intakes, However I use a cutted foam piece to seal the vents when it rains very hard.

Here is a quick picture, I also had the shineauto CF bodykit installed, I hope to be able to post more pictures soon

Hey what type of foam are you using? I need to make a cover for my ducts too.

Old thread I know...how are these stuck on? Double sided tape?

Wonder if these would fit on the bottom of the bumper to make brake ducts out of them? Are the fronts angled any?

They are specifically designed to go in the top... plus you cant attach any duct to it because the outlet is square shaped.

dont those things just allow rain to go straight onto the intake filters?

like a dyson sucking water, im not sure if that's a good thing?

or do you add like a hydrophobic mesh or something on the back end?

I guess amazon is no longer selling those because that link is dead... Any idea where to get those now??
