B-pillar gone...

I heard a loud noise while driving down the road and checked later and its gone... I thought one of the clips at the top was broken but I didn't think it was going to fly off... Any chance warranty covers this?

Probably not. They cost $78.

Way more than I wanted to spend on a piece of plastic... especially since its obviously a design flaw. Freaking sucks..

Will I need new clips too? There are 2 white things that are still in the holes I assume those are the clips...

Not sure yet. There's a total of three holes as I'm sure you see. Sounds like the two are there. The middle one probably flew off with the piece being it attaches differently from the other two. If that's your case?

This first link is the overall pic to identify your part. The second is the part itself and the number. Remember that the the R and L when ordering for right or left side.

Why wouldn't warranty cover a piece of the car falling off while driving?

It's one thing if it flew of within weeks of purchase. But on a car that is two years old you couldn't prove it hasn't been tampered with.

They can't really prove it has been either, but dealers are dicks when it comes to warranty work so I won't hold my breath.

If it's under bumper to bumper, I would take it in to the dealer and see if they will cover it. Trim pieces are not wear and tear items.
