I had an Xpel clear bra installed on my bumper and full hood right after I bought my new Z. My hood was wrapped and it's invisible and shines. The shop gave me some Xpel wax to use on it from time to time. I was told not to wash the car for one week after the install. So far so good...and I'd do it if I were you.

Mine was $600 :eekdance: - 3M

$800 for the bumper and hood.
I believe it comes with a 7 year warranty.

Make sure that it's safe to put a clear bra on your hood this early after the paint job. Check with your painter first.
