Stillen lip deformation?

I've had the still front splitter lip on my car for a few months, and I am noticing it is sagging a bit in the middle. I thought maybe some of the screws or rivets I installed with backed out, but no, everything is still snug. Looks like maybe the wind from just driving caused this. Also want to make note that the fitment of this lip when installed was a pain as well, but everyone makes mention that it is one of the best fitting lips...I would HATE to see the worst...

Just seems weird as I haven't heard very many people (if any) make a mention to this. Anyone else with this lip notice this?

I'll try to get some pictures in a bit.

I just installed mine, and yes, fitment was an issue. I havent seen any distortion yet...but I also have quite a few fastners in it.

Lol, I have about 6 screws and 4 rivets holding up just the middle section. I don't know why fitment was such an issue for me, but it just wouldn't fit right. I called them and sent them pics, and they called back about a month or 2 afterwards. Just going to assume they were incredibly busy. On the phone they were very helpful and seemed genuinely concerned, but I didn't get the call back from their tech for quite some time.

I'm actually incredibly unhappy with how it looks now. I would expect this to happen to a cheaper ebay lip, but I was under the assumption stillen was a more quality product.

Possibly the 3M tape coming loose in that area? Just a guess. Haven't noticed anything like that with mine. I've had it on for like 8 months.

nothing but problems on this splitter...

You guys are scaring me.
I am planning to install mine this weekend. I've even considered just pulling the front bumper so I could do it on the workbench vs. trying to do it on the ground. Figure it wouldn't take that much longer than jacking up the car.

I know a lot of guys who have had no issues what so ever and then there are the stories of the splitter ripping off on highway, deforming, not fitting properly etc.

What gives guys? Are there manufacturing variances?

Once I got certain areas of the lip shaved down, it looks like a good fit. The center was the biggest problem, and the tabs to each side of the center section sit about 1/4" away from the actual bumper, making the tape useless. I used rivits.

I had the same fitment issues. Rivets used as well, but it's not like it fixed the fact the middle is sagging. I've thought about contacting stillen, but really, it took them a month to get back to me on the fitment issue so I am guessing it would be a lost cause.

Not to mention, a replacement might not fix it, and I would have to try to line it up again...

Mine is sagging a little in the middle but it doesn't bother me, had no fitment issues on initial install.
