Rear Overfender for 370z

Hey guys I didnt find anything about this so I am just gonna ask this.
Does anyone think of rear Overfender for 370z. I only know theres Veilside that has overfender for 370z, and i think it really has a cool look at the rear. But after staring at it for couple weeks i notice it looks like it can only fit with the veilside rear bumper. Just curious if anyone planning to do that to their 370z. I wanna try putting it with amuse kit and see how it looks.

So far Veilside is really the only option. You could get the Veilside ones and have a body shop modify the rear portion to fit with any rear bumper you wanted.

There is also the Tamon design widebody:

We contemplated making our own rear over fender off my design... but that would require my car being down several more months and the likelihood of most people not want a 6" wider car...

But then agaaaaain....maybe some of us would jump at it  I'm gonna PM you Mike...contemplating some things...

amusez34 04-03-2012 09:20 PM

cant wait for UAM's overfender design. even though it is already fat like **** but i think a little wider would make it more sexy and stand out

stratburst 04-04-2012 09:44 PM

One word... WHY? It adds weight and drag to the car or put simply it will only slow you down. If it doesn't make it faster then forget it IMO.

I really don't dig the front fender at all, but that rear looks factory! Very skilled body shop... and I liked your old wheels better, black lip on those makes them look smaller.

Freakin beautiful! Congrats man!

Kingbaby 04-05-2012 05:29 PM

think he answered that...

edit:

also with aggressive offset wheels on stock 370z you can get wide already...1-2inches more over stock

amusez34 04-05-2012 05:44 PM

 when did he say anything about add on fender?

I may have read it wrong, but he said there might not be enough interest to have his company go into something like that. Also they would mold it off his car, causing it to be down for several more months...

at least how I read it...

oic! i meant whether or not UAM is gonna design an add on fender. I know how he mold wider the fender but thats not what i wanted. I want something like add on overfender. i guess veilside is the only choice i have :icon17:

We were debating between an over fender or a direct replacement fender.

xgrudgex 04-06-2012 10:15 AM

im in for direct replacement!

Hey guys sorry to reopen the thread, I have been looking everywhere for some over fenders that are not so aggressive the smallest I have found are 75mm but thats still huge (2.25 inc). The reason I want over-fenders is because my 370z is my drift car and doing tandems we sometimes touch, my quarter panel is damaged so I want a more conservative over-fender to hide the damage and if we damage the over fender again its easy $300 replacement than an actually quarter panel full repair.

Thoughts? anyone want to start making some?

cooltoy 10-16-2019 10:26 PM

If you are sorry, then don't do it and you will not need to be sorry. Who remembers anything from seven years ago?

Start a new thread. Show us what you already found and then maybe we can try to help find something else.

There is this nasty piece of work.

Thats a pretty terrible reason to get over fenders

Just fix the damage or live with it
