Shine Auto (Disappointed??)

So I receive my carbon fiber pieces that I ordered from Shine Auto today and am very happy with the way the pieces turned out but kind of disappointed I ordered three pieces of carbon fiber for over $700 and received no hardware in the package. No screws, no silicone, not even double sided tape. Is this normal???

I would definitely contact them about that.

Good luck

Yes that is normal. Its the customers choice of adding the screw or 3mm tape.

Thats absolutely crazy. These parts just do not stick to the car and for the price paid I think its cheap. Like buying a piece of furniture that needs to be assembled and no hardware. I guess its my opinion but I think for the money you spend a tube of silicone and a roll of double sided tape should be included.

^^^ totally normal bro.... silicone and screws are cheap anyways.... you should be happy they make those sunline reps....because the original sunline lip kit cost about 3-4 times as much as what you paid

Its not that crazy. The body shop that is installing it should provide the materials. Each person is different when it comes to adding or supplying hardware. Call ShineAuto and ask. Just spoke to Ken the owner about it. I was curious about this also.

These came with EVO-R (FRP) Diffuser that I bought from theZStore.

Finally someone that feels like I do after you spend hundreds a dollars a roll of double sided tape or a small bag of screws at the very least would have been a great gesture!!

Well, you can use this as a learning experience for future purchases. Make sure to ask what is included with the item you're purchasing.

I'm with you as well. Too much to pay to not include the cheap items.

It's rare for vendors to supply mounting hardware, especially if they are shipping replicas. If they do, good on them, but don't expect it.

:iagree: Every body part i've bought over the past 17yrs has been this way.

I was slightly surprised too when I got my Shine Auto rear pieces and it came with nothing...but I was expecting that which is why I had already bought 3M tape lol.

Companies like EVO-R do provide screws and tape from what I've seen

Shine Auto is a replica of Sunline, and Sunline provides all screws, tape and even brackets. So thats kinda the nature of the game.
