Hey guys saw something and really got me thinking, for those of you like me who have the amuse exhaust, know how much it's a shame to hide that beautiful canisters under the body, this exgust is a true work of art and I would like to show as much as possible of it, even though if you stand at a distance you might be able to see a hint of the canister sticking out from under the amuse bumper still it's not enough for me lol anyways I was taking a look at the amuse back bumper for the GTR and amuse designed it in a way where there is an opening in the middle of the bumper in the bottom where the amuse exguast canisters are totally visible which is just beautiful like the pic shown below

Well I was thinking for those of us who have the amuse back bumper if it would be possible to fabricate it in a way where we can cut the plastic from
the inside of the bumper, right behind where there are the 2 pieces of mesh in the middle of the bumper, that way it will show the canister, would it be impossible or ruin the bumper in anyway if I did that, look at the pic of the 370z amuse below and try to envision it

yeeeh 350 nismo rear would actually be perfect, and that is exactly what i had in mind the vis 350 think i should go for it?

I gotta agree man I think it would actually look really good if done well. Don't be afraid to be a pioneer and go for it just don't forget to post pics.

But if I hack and cut the FRP won't that affect the bumper

if you cut the portion off like the blue one ^^^ youll be alright... just reinforce the back a lil so it wont flex and itll be strong as ever :tup:

I'm heavily leaning towards doing it just have to find the right body shop as I haven't had the best of luck with body shops here

just like your parts bro... remember the more the body shop charges then the more likely they are more credible....also look at the kinda cars they got in the shop... :tup: you gotta pay to play like they say... as for me i learned it the hard way.... had one of my friends shoot my kit.... they didnt blend it... :( now i gotta end up reshooting the whole car....

loving my set up right now, but u know the mod bug wont stop loool, with all do respect i disagree about paying more for a better job or seeing the kind of cars in the body shop, the last guy i went to i swear he had super cars in his shop and charged maybe 2 for the jon, i swear to god his work was so **** that i had to redo 95% of it in another shop, and so far im pleased with there work and it didnt even cost me half of wht that guy charged me

by the way sorry to hear about ur bad experience i know how much it sucks believe me, so what color did u decide on ? BTW ended up ordering the amuse brace bar was just too good to pass up lool

i havent decided yet LMAO!!!! in all honesty... im leaning towards red... but one with metallic to be exact.... and a lil darker... not maron... but a dark red.... :tup: should go great with the red kevlar.... man i envy you bro... amuse brace bar huh... thats gonna be sex bro put lotsa pics k?
