its that time again..... help me chose a color

ok guys so i got the fenders in already... and i went to a body shop... asked if they can blend it in with existing and blend the old body kit (since its a darker shade) and they said might as well repaint the whole car... i never thought of changing colors... i dropped that idea a long time ago but i guess this is a chance for a different color.... help me decide what color i should paint my z.... please keep in mind the color has to match my red kevlar inside.... thanks in advance

That's a cool colour, but not with your red kevlar interior.

phelan 03-13-2012 05:47 PM

aren't you pretty stuck with red if you want to match red kevlar lol.

or go white / graphite / boring, since those match with everything...

maybe go matte gunmetal, reventon style.

Bingo! I was gonna suggest the same thing!

well you can go for a graphite paint and then wrap it in matte vinyl...

Forest green with gold wheels. It's a color combo that's never done but would pop with the z's lines.

Kinda like this shade.

Blackcherry

I own a body shop an it is not worth painting the whole car if u just have to do fenders doors n covers getting involved with door jams and inside hood and trunks is a significant increase in work it's a great idea but just make sure you talk price with them because I would charge 2500 to shoot the exterior with out the roof but if your doing a color change I would charge around 5-6k good luck with whatever you do just make sure up front
