One thing you guys can look in to.

Buy a spare pillar cover from Nissan and graft on some gauge pods then cover it with synthetic suede or cloth to match the rest of the car. You can the cover the passenger pillar in the same material to match.

All you'd have to do is trim some of the universal pod material for a fit, then JB Weld in place and cover with material. That's how the one in my Challenger is setup and it looks stock.

Your work is top notch. The difference between yours and the ones that are being sold out there is you somehow managed for the gauges to be unobtrusive to the outside view... you should consider becoming a sponsor and sell these.

Awesome buddy. Repped. I spent all day lowering my seats and installing my harnesses. What a long day when trying to make it all right.

How low were you able to get your seat?

SPOHN 02-20-2012 07:15 PM

When I originally installed the Recaros they where a lot higher than stock. Which in reality isn't much but it seemed as I was looking out near the top of the winshield. So I removed the sliders all together which dropped the seat a 1 1/2'' which is a good bit when talking seats. So my driver seat is in a fixed postion now. Which is a tad lower than stock. That's where it needs to be anyways. When tracking a car you want the seats lower of course but at the same time you want to retain the gauges and the road in a line of sight. Which I feel I'm at.

Plus that puts my feet right at par so there always bent even when the clutch is fully depressed. Which is what you want if you hit the wall so your leg is not completely straight causing a form of shock on impact. There's a word for this but I don't recall at the moment.
