I already have the gauge mounted, just waiting for a good time to drain fluid and work on the pan (maybe while installing their valve body upgrade sometime this spring).

Yeah I've got a gauge mounted that is doing my oil pressure & coolant temp now. I figure I'm going to splice into the return trans line (That's what B&M Recommends) when I install my trans cooler & just use that gauge as my new AT temp

I'd sure like oil temp, but seems no luck.

I got DashCommand when it dropped to $10 and like it quite a bit (I have several other apps as well). My $18 ELM327 WIFI has done a pretty good job.

Not a bad $30 investment.

So for the iPhone all you need is the ELM327 wifi & Dash Command app?

Yep. Well, and a car too.

Torque App and Oil Temp sensing. (Android at least)

For those of you out there using Torque and wanting to sense oil temp and other unique PIDs, you should check out the Nissan ADV app available as a plugin. With it you can add several more PIDS, one of which is VVT Oil Temp.

You need to add this plugin from the torque app initially then it will send you to the app store to continue loading. Once that is done, restart torque. the from the Settings menu/Manage extra PIDs/Sensors you then select Add Custom Predefine set. The next menu will have the Nissan 370Z 3.7 V6 (Z34 VQ37VHR) vehicle specific PIDs. Select this item and you will be all set.

After this add the custom PID to a gauge style of your choice and away you go. Pretty simple.

Disclaimer: if you think you have already loaded this nissan ADV app and still cannot find the PIDs, please try uninstalling and re-installing. I had to to get this to work.

Enjoy.
