no its not, they most likely added that CF accent on the kit... companies that offer the CF vestito kit are all knock offs

I... want... hood

370Ztune 01-19-2012 06:04 PM

No, Amuse is NOT offering the Vestito kit in carbon fiber. This particular demo car is owned by Yokohama/Advan (the owner of Yokohama is huge fan of Amuse, he has a full Ericsson M3 as well) and they added custom carbon fiber overlays to the regular Vestito kit.

Regarding the hood, (I posted this up in the other thread) for anybody seriously interested, I need to warn that this hood is full, autoclaved dry carbon (the same stuff that full on race cars are made of), so it's by no means cheap. I can provide pricing, but it's very expensive.

I'm going to try and talk with Amuse to see whether they can produce an FRP version of the hood as well. As they have never done an FRP hood in the past, it may be a total long shot, but I'll let everybody know how it goes.

However, Amuse IS working on some new things for the 370z - I'll give away one thing - new wing!

No dont do the entire hood in FRP, just the OEM hood with cf/frp inserts?

Shimmy 01-19-2012 09:32 PM

The one that Advan/Yokohama's showing is the AUTHENTIC amuse kit and not a knock off.

Yeah, 370ztune introduced the "newer version" of the kit on another thread after that post.

LakeShow 05-28-2012 11:12 PM

That looks awesome. The hood looks great also.

MacLean 05-28-2012 11:50 PM

Man that hood is freaken awesome. I would hate to replace it. I like seeing the different front fenders that have the indention in then with CF.

FuszNissan 05-29-2012 11:01 AM

GB on hood?

Amuse370z 05-29-2012 04:44 PM

I'm surprised no one replicated it already to be honest with all the love for the hood.
