Jamaica, the reason why this order is moving so slow is because you are ignoring several requests for PICS OF THE PRODUCT on the current Z. It is ONLY FAIR for you to show pics of your FINISHED PRODUCT INSTALLED. This mod may cost some up to $300 depending on the combo. At least show some picks of a few knobs installed with the boot.

Its not that we're too cheap to purchase, but when we are online. A simple pic is an assurance of QUALITY AND FITMENT

EZT 05-11-2012 10:16 AM

I'll jump in for brushed aluminum with an engraving and no boot.

Jamaica 05-11-2012 10:18 AM

There are installed pics on the thread

Engraving Sample

This engraving is not actually machined into the surface. Instead it is laser engraved on top of the surface. This option would be cheaper than an actual machine engraved finish due to ease of set-up for the laser compared to CNC machine. If interested, PM me for more details.

Also have Shift boots:

Zenki370 05-16-2012 03:34 PM

Take me off the list, I went oem GTR shift knob+Oem 370 shift boot instead, too much time waiting.

wilsonp 05-17-2012 01:33 AM

What is the coating to create the black aluminum?

Can you engrave a vertical PRND with M to the left?

Can you make another shape beside sphere or do you plan to?

Jamaica 05-17-2012 10:55 AM

We will have the group buy with the people we already have on the list. WE have four more people added this week.

I will confirm all orders by saturday.

For anyone looking to do a 6MT console conversion, here's one for sale: http://www.the370z.com/parts-sale-pr...onsole-fs.html

**FYI - The 6MT trim is not a direct fit for the 7AT shifter and modification WILL BE needed to both the console, and the shifter assembly. (Cutting/Sanding/Etc.) However, the result is very clean, and Often mistaken as a 6MT Z.

Sorry, this took a while longer than I expected, and I splurged on Elysium's Tein Monoflex...going to have to take me off the list. I've also removed Zenki, as I've been following this thread, and it appears he's already gotten the GTR knob + stock boot. Thanks for your efforts, Jamaica, but it just took too long...

Jamaica 05-21-2012 11:06 AM

As people say patience is worth the while. The first three will be shipped out this week. I will pm the rest this week.

And FYI he is replacing it with our knob.

Thanks and have a nice day guys

Jamaica 05-21-2012 12:13 PM

captain nok and unknown please send me a pm.

NXTAZEE 05-21-2012 12:47 PM

These look pretty nice, I may be interested. What are the dimensions of the knob?

I'm not questioning the virtuosity of patience--it's rewards are not unknown to me. I believe the issue here was a lack of communication, as well as several timeline expectations, set by yourself, which were not met. I understand the issue may be minor for some, but I expect when told "x will happen on n," that it will happen--or that there be communication otherwise. I understand you are a busy person, and that these knobs/boots will most likely have excellent workmanship, but I am a little offended you brought patience into the equation.

That's my rant. I'm sure a couple of people here thought it as well. I would have left it alone, had you simply apologized for missing your own deadlines, rather than shifting the blame to your clients.

Good luck with the sales. I'm sure the end product will be beautiful.

Zenki370 05-21-2012 02:19 PM

When it comes to their cars, some people have patience. But theres a difference between no patience and missed timelines resulting in uncertainty on the consumers part. If I was told we are expecting this to be done by this date but a delay could possibly occur. If this happens Ill let you know, would have been OK. On a side note, the gtr shift knob and oem 370z boot I did looks completely OEM, and not a rehash of something I would have did in my younger days with my Acura Integra, no offense.

Ok, so I'm a little confused here. Are these shifters and boots ready to order or not?

NXTAZEE 05-22-2012 12:43 PM

Would someone be kind enough to let me know if these products are available to purchase. I torn between these shifters and another, but I'm not getting any answers here. Even tried a PM to jamaica. Must be on Jamaican time.

I'm having second thoughts about ordering from him based on this kind of service. I run my own business and know how important customer service is. So, I take that this product is actually produced and is ready to be purchased??? No one has actually confirmed this yet. :shakes head:

captain-nok 05-22-2012 06:17 PM

I never got a pm

EZT 05-22-2012 06:26 PM
