Who makes the GTR taillight overlays?

Is Blue Batmobile the only one? Cause he seems to have fallen off the face of the earth.

Does anyone else make them?

im sure any vinyl shop could replicate them

DarkZide 11-16-2011 03:37 PM

is it just most of the tail tinted with the clear part left untinted?

Usually, but I would consider having the tails painted instead of tinted with film. The film tends to bubble and doesn't like to hold the contours of the lights. A tinted paint would give you a much nicer and more durable finish.

:iagree:

He's probably referring to my experience. I had them tinted with vinyl at a tint shop and they kept bubbling. Eventually I got a refund for them and got them painted for the same price and they look soooooo much better now.

Here are some pics to show you the difference:

The problem with painting is that im not 100% sure id leave it that way. and vinyl would just peel back off.

Plus i think the only place that does it around here charges like 200$ to do it with paint.
