Can you change the time in the clock gauge?

Seriously. How is it such a mystery? I've read the manual, searched the forum... can't find it. It's 8 minutes behind the nav clock after taking it in for service.

Normally I wouldn't bitch about something so trivial, but if Nissan claims it's one of the three most important things to put into a gauge cluster...

DarkZide 11-13-2011 04:43 PM

you can change it in the information center. But not while the car is moving.

TMAN1985 11-13-2011 04:59 PM

^ Exactly...You just scroll through till you get to clock...

007MI6 11-13-2011 05:20 PM

:iagree:

Change it in the information center on the silver gauge to the far left.

Or....Do what I did and turn off the Nav clock, since two clocks are annoying.

Now THAT'S the right answer. :iagree: 1000%. I didn't know you could do that.

Stosh Rickles 11-13-2011 05:43 PM

How'd I miss that? Damn. Well, thanks guys!

frost 11-13-2011 05:48 PM

By the way, almost completely off topic, but that clock is junk. It loses a minute a month in my car. I have the Nav, which also has the time, and keeps it perfectly though. Weird.

SPOHN 11-13-2011 05:51 PM

Yea, my clock loses two minutes a month. But to change the clock is in the manual.

Agreed. :iagree:

Yeah the two buttons on the left of the cluster allow you to change settings ie clock, mpg etc. I just figured that out myself

Now i need to figure out how to control trip meter. :ughdance:

Im assuming its the two buttons on the left of he cluster but they dont seem to do anyting :icon14:

SPOHN 11-13-2011 05:59 PM

The trip meter has a button right beside the mileage display. Press it to switch between A and B. And hold for teo seconds and release to reset.

That's what I did; turn off the nav clock. It's like the clocks on my microwave and oven; one on top of the other and out of sync in two days!

I'm way too OCD to put up with that.

I have the same issue!

I usually set my car's clock 5 mins ahead and after a month or so, I lose 2-3 mins.

Maybe so, but I can't change the gauge clock to anything else. So rather than have two clocks or do some major mods, I just turn the nav off. Accurate enough for me, and it takes mere seconds to change if need be. I don't know about you, but my life is not THAT tied on the minute.:eekdance::p

PapoZalsa 11-13-2011 10:15 PM

The clock is a pain in the arse to change until you get used too.

KaienZ34 11-13-2011 10:24 PM

No nav, but my normal clock is spot on with my phone (main time piece) i only have to change it for day light saving.

Jack370Z 11-14-2011 08:11 PM

There is actually a TSB issued on setting it but check pg 2-22 Instruments and controls in the owners manual. Here is the info from the TSB...
