How soon you think you'll have the radio/thermostat done on this project? That's the only part I want done and it would be great see pics before ordering.

By the way, I just HAD to ask before, you know, or it wouldn't be prudent. Not trying to be a big D.

Nah I got you man, its cool. I actually don't have a radio piece here. I just have the big console with cubby and shifter. I could scoop up a metra piece I guess and do it too. I like leaving that stock just so its not SO much carbon, ya know

Oh okay, I misunderstood what you have. Don't go out of your way. Pictures of anything actually covered would be great.

Yeah, I love CF just like brushed aluminum and other things, but it needs to be done sparingly. I know you would love it if everyone did 50% of their interiors, cha ching cha ching, but that's not for me. Hence, just the radio/thermostat surround piece for me and I'm done.

I like the idea of this new silver CF because ultimately I would love for this piece to be brushed aluminum like in my Murano. But, since no one is doing that, CF is the next best thing. With the silver I might get sort a combination of both.

I assume you can do the matte finish with this material also? I don't want super shiny.

Yes, matte can be done

Finally received the cf today...looks even nicer in person...now that i see it I see how its made up close. Its real carbon fiber woven in a plain weave. But has thin reflective silver strands that run through it. Which is what gives it the unique reflective look. Just as thin as normal cf but man does it pop in person.,,I just got it in today and going to town laying it on a console as we speak. I am going to put togther a whole kit with this stuff so anyone interested lemme know...

Here she is...

I've used texalium too as well, its thick like fiberglass and takes time to get down right. Don't worry bro, I've done this stuff more than a few times;) not my first time.

Pro $hit, keep up the new innovations Tony
