Gloss Black Roof Overlay Pricing?

Just wondering on how much you guys paid for the overlay. I know bluebatmobile sells them for cheap but i was wondering on how difficult it was to put them on and if it ruins the paint if I were to take it off.

Also, I was asking around local tint shops for a pricing and they are all $200 and above. Their reasoning being that their material is the best and comes with lifetime warranty.

So my main question is...should I just buy from Bluebatmobile or get them done at a shop?

That's funny cause when i asked around about it, the main reason for the price was due to the little "blisters" on either side of the roof.

Yeah they gave me that reason too, so idk if i should just do it on my own or pay the money and get it done.

How much patience do you have, and have you ever done tinting/vinyl work before?

i have a good amount of patience, but as far as tinting experience I have a little. done some decent window tinting with friends, but nothing professional.

Buy it from Bat, find a shop that does the advertising wraps on cars and have them put it on. They are used to the curves of a car and will charge alot less. GL

I have been trying to buy from bat too for the last couple weeks but his website only show prices for 350Z and is hard to communicate with him. :dunno:

Can someone correct me if I'm looking at the wrong link from his website.

Paint it

I paid like $350 with 3M matt black overlay.
I think it depends on where you go and what they use but I am very satisfied from their job

I think the reasoning they blame their pricing on the product being high quality, is because its a lot easier to say that than say, "The product is cheap, but our labor to put it on is expensive!". heh

I think I'll just end up paying for the shop to do it. 250 doesnt seem too badd, especially when bluebats overlays are $80 and they charging $100 labor. Might as well get the 3M Gloss.

Pay like 250 and look like 2500 :)
