Nah, I'm not that ballzy, lol.

'10Anamoly 10-21-2011 11:42 AM

Bump for lowered cost (manufacturer giving a discount on labor to cut them).

virtuosoondis 10-22-2011 11:11 AM

It prob be Hella cold with the ac

'10Anamoly 10-22-2011 01:02 PM

The airflow is better, circulates through the cabin more readily around behind the seats, feels good. The drastic piece though was the sound, its a symphony hall, no joke, lol!

RoshDawg 10-22-2011 03:00 PM

Pm me I want one!

'10Anamoly 10-23-2011 07:48 AM

3 people so far who are ready to buy, anyone else interested? Need to try and get 8 sales so I can use the whole sheet of Lexan (avoids it being more expensive). Price is $185 + shipping for the piece and all hardware.

Lemme know, thanks!

kevr6 10-23-2011 01:38 PM

I'm in.

Baer383 10-23-2011 02:53 PM

'10Anamoly 10-24-2011 09:03 AM

Hi all! Firstly, thanks for the responses, we have six orders (per PMs) ready to buy, only need two more to use the whole sheet of Lexan. This is what is keeping the cost down. I cant drop the price from where it is at for 8 orders but I could for 16 orders, although I dont think it would be much. I have to negotiate the price drops on material costs.

For now though, price is $185 + shipping and I only need two more to make a set of 8 at this price.

We can do it! :)

pokeyl 10-24-2011 09:20 AM

As the rear view is so bad out of our cars, I was thinking about a CF panel with a foam core (see dragonplate.com) as a material???

'10Anamoly 10-24-2011 09:26 AM

I would not want to close it all off honestly, but that would be each person's call. This one retains the see through visibility without issue.

TypeOne 10-24-2011 04:33 PM

Interesting!

Mr. Q 10-24-2011 05:21 PM

Count me in. I want one.

'10Anamoly 10-25-2011 06:38 AM

Seven people in the group buy, we only need one more! :)

Hi all,

Price is set at $185. Shipping is $26 in the USA (its four feet long) via UPS. Local people obviously dont need to pay for shipping, I can meet you to deliver it. The price will be set here since we only had 7 orders. There is room for one more order if someone is interested, but I need payment and notice of interest within the next two days, I dont want to hold up the build order for the rest who have paid. :)

I wont be making another set unless we get another 7-8 orders, due to cost.

Thanks!

sinceday1 10-26-2011 11:47 AM

Money sent. :)

'10Anamoly 10-26-2011 12:10 PM

Received :) Only two payments left and the order goes in.

Mr. Q 10-26-2011 02:27 PM

I've sent my money.

'10Anamoly 10-26-2011 02:31 PM

The last two should be coming in by tomorrow. I will extract the PayPal money and place the order the minute it hits my bank. Thanks again to all!

'10Anamoly 11-09-2011 12:20 PM

All pieces and hardware have shipped to those who paid. I have two pieces left that are ready for sale, same price of $185 + $30 shipping for the 1/4" Lexan piece and the hardware. PM me if interested!

JakeZ34 11-09-2011 12:56 PM

Question on this glass piece, I have a 12" sub in the back with the Zenclosure box. Would this thing vibrate or is it very secured? I would like to compliment my focal speakers with those in the front cabin but I don't want to have to turn my bass down either.

JakeZ34 11-09-2011 01:01 PM

And if it's okay with the 12" subs then I'll take the extra one you have left :)

'10Anamoly 11-09-2011 01:22 PM

I honestly have not tried it with subs but I can tell you the following:

You can hit Lexan with a hammer and it wont break. It has six mounting brackets and does not move much at all. It is a tad flexible when stressed but this is necessary for the structure to flex with chassis twist, although our cars dont have much.

I dont think you would see any issue in the least honestly. I have Polk Audio 6x9's behind my seats (2 speakers total in the car) with 75W to each and its a symphony hall pretty much at medium volumes. The sound reduction in the back is good, but the best change is honestly the stereo quality and soundscape.

The price for these is $185 + $30 shipping in the USA.

Paypal is "cboney@gmail.com" and you can either mark it as "payment owed" in the PayPal send to avoid fees or add another 4% to the combined total to cover PayPal fees.

I can ship as soon as the money hits my bank. Thanks!

RoshDawg 11-09-2011 06:53 PM

im planning on getting some custom foam pieces to fill in the gaps that the glass doesnt. gonna be stripping the rear and dont want to deal with all the road noise!

pokeyl 12-02-2011 11:09 AM

Just installed. I Like it. Using double sided 3M trim tape to mount brackets.

'10Anamoly 12-02-2011 11:27 AM

Can you post some pics for everyone? I have one left to sell also if anyone is interested. :)

fuct 12-02-2011 11:40 AM

I think it's a pretty cool idea, especially if it can be done with a very clean install.

I'm just passing through, so I don't have the time to look and see if this has already been mentioned, but some guys make partitions for vettes that also look fantastic. This may be an alternative for the guys who don't like the looks of the plexi, but like the idea in general.

'10Anamoly 12-02-2011 12:09 PM

There isnt a way to just set something in place on our cars. The side window ports and the general curvature makes for a very difficult fit. These pieces are not plexi at all, they are Margard Coated Lexan, a very heavy duty and scratch resistant polycarbonate. It's about 3-4X as much money to buy compared to standard plexiglass.

'10Anamoly 12-06-2011 05:16 PM

So I have another guy interested in buying these and I was wondering if there might be a few more left that were interested. The manufacturer offered me another $10 cut in labor costs for cutting the pieces which I can pass on to you all if we can get four more guys (5 total). At this price I am not making any money at all but I dont mind doing it for you all. If I can sell 8 I'll make about $30 so thats fine too. This would be at $165 + shipping.

Lemme know if anyone else is interested!

NickBaragona 02-20-2012 02:26 PM

Has anybody tried this yet with the Zenclosure box?

'10Anamoly 02-20-2012 07:00 PM

Not that I have heard. :) I have the development piece for sale still if anyone is interested. It is 3/8" thick and has all the hardware I tested install with. Will let it go for $110+ actual shipping in the USA. Let me know if you are interested, thanks!

bdavis89 02-21-2012 09:59 PM

Where in GA are you? I may be interested. Whats the difference between the developmental piece and the production pieces? Can't get another 8 buyers?

'10Anamoly 02-22-2012 06:23 AM

Hey dude, I am in Atlanta. The development piece is the same material/shape/cut and everything, but its thicker than the production pieces were. The production pieces were 1/4", this one is 3/8" material. Still fits perfectly with no issues, we just chose the thinner material for production. We do not have eight more people who wanted them after I sold the first round or I would be happy to make more. For now, this is the last one available.

Lemme know if you are interested, thanks!
