Plastic fang area coverings

Sorry if this has been asked before as i have used the search function but didnt find anything. Noticed that there is some plastic coverings in the fang area, was just wondering if those area removable as i was thinking about trying to remove them to let some more air into the radiator area. Thanks in advance :)

I removed it and used a Dremel to enlarge the fang area. Just waiting on new pictures of my car to see what it looks like with the intercooler and intake filters behind the bumper :)

I also removed my coverings while waiting for my oil to drain.

if you search it up there are some cool setups involving redirecting the air to the intakes

Stillen Increased Airflow
