the thing is starting to look more and more like a vacuum cleaner.

VaGntlmn 10-04-2011 01:51 PM

I'm still (possibly) in for the spoiler, but I'm DEFINITELY out for the diffuser!!

Thank you. Yes, I do mean the one on the first page.
This whole thread is confusing. The topic is for a spoiler, and then that got taken over for the diffuser, and now (temporarily) that got taken over by that great big crown spoiler.
I'm so confused!!!

FairladyZ10PG 10-04-2011 03:52 PM

I, too, am waiting for some updates on the Blitzz spoiler.

NewYorkJon34 10-04-2011 07:59 PM

It should have at least cover the whole rear valence area, not just the middle.

EVOR 10-04-2011 08:52 PM

So I should not have extend the middle part upward. Make the center shorter so it will hide under the rear bumper. Humm... more cutting and molding and trimming.

That would definitely be a good start. Getting rid of that extended part will make it A LOT more agreeable with everyone I think. I don't think people are looking for a wild and obvious diffuser, but more so a more subtle one.

Good on you for listening to people though!

Spec Jay 10-04-2011 11:04 PM

doesnt even have to be subtle just that whole extension upward threw it off.

something like that would be perfect imo

diffuser should def stay below the bumper line maybe cut into the rear valence but i would love to keep my foglight

RoshDawg 10-04-2011 11:45 PM

I agree. Something more simple and under the valance (like the 350 which was a big hit), or covering the entire bottom section of the rear valance. Thanks for listening too btw.

 +1

EVOR 10-05-2011 08:38 PM

With this design if the whole diffuser stay below the bumper, it will be very low.

more progress... The center section will extend up more. Photo shown with screws is just to extend it. There will be a hole with a Z logo allow the rear foglight light source to go through.

rather it hit the diffuser than my exhaust haha. cost of being low, cant deal with it? dont run a diffuser. like when you buy a front lip.

whats the update on the diffuser :) ?

FairladyZ10PG 10-10-2011 08:17 PM

Just for fun. I saw this Voltex piece which I thought looked good. It kinda resembled the piece that Evo-R designed.

:tup::tup::tup::tup: that would look good

phunk 10-11-2011 12:34 AM

the one on my 350z in that picture, has been cut up to fit the exhaust. I didnt hesitate to run them both knowing I would have to cut it. on my friends FD rx7, his exhaust and diffuser are not compatible either. He choose to use half inch aluminum spacers to lower his diffuser.

i would not expect someone making a diffuser to have to spend the time making sure it fits with every aftermarket exhaust. i care that it looks really good, thats what i want them to focus on. if it doesnt clear my exhaust, i will figure that out when i get there. its not hard to modify an exhaust or trim some CF.

I want this diffuser to look sick, i dont care if it fits all you guy's exhausts :)

RoshDawg 10-20-2011 05:54 PM

Any updates? I need more downforce in the back asap

nismo 1234 10-21-2011 01:56 PM

seems like evo-r disappeared for awhile

Raizon 10-21-2011 02:05 PM

Yeah, no responses from emails. Glad I didn't place my order for some of their parts.

NickTurnon 10-21-2011 02:54 PM

How much for the spoilers?

ClemsonWill 10-21-2011 02:57 PM

Ugh! I just check out the most recent pics of the EVO-R diffuser. I'm not feeling it. As others have said, I hope the finished product looks more like the 350z's.

EVOR 10-21-2011 09:49 PM

We are busy working on new spoiler for 370z. This will be show at SEMA show. Will have more update on this qt end of Nov.

nismo 1234 10-21-2011 11:34 PM

Damn another Long wait

I think the sides of the diffuser should not go past the center parts of the oem bumper like the pic above. Imagine the the diffuser without the extensions. See how the diffuser curves up and lines up with the curve of the bumper. Make it like that.

http://www.evo-r.net/product/370Z/diffuser/EVORDIFF.jpg

RoshDawg 10-22-2011 05:04 PM

I do also like that g37 diffuser without extensions. Anything like the 350z one would be great. And wow that has a ridiculous amount of negative camber.

Not sure why Evo-R is working on the spoiler as a primary project, I would think they would get a lot more sales with the diffuser since it will be the onlyyy bolt on one on the market. But hey I'll guess I'll wait again.

Sorry to keep bugging, but has the diffuser project been dropped?

Flushnismo 11-29-2011 02:05 PM

I hope not..

Raizon 11-29-2011 02:12 PM

Did something happen to Jay? I don't know how he stays in business with this lack of communication.

scionide 05-12-2013 02:30 AM

bump for updates? Seems hes been working on a nismo rear diffuser here http://www.the370z.com/nismo-370z/59...iffuser-5.html

EVOR 05-13-2013 01:59 AM

Nismo is done. Stock is next
