Yeah, after looking at some pics I decided to paint it identical to the mines wing including painting the outer edges. Its going to look great. Yes the accent ideas are definitely going to tie it all together.

The plastip lifted on me right away, I had to use an exacto knife which I managed to scrape all the way through to the paint. Good thing I had already planned to use actual paint I'm not a big fan of the plasti dip after seeing it in person.I will be using satin black paint with a couple layers of clear which hopefully won't be too glossy. I will test first

Why stop trying different things with the paint on a spoiler which was already damaged beyond repair. It would cost 100$ to have it repainted. If nobody tried anything new, we wouldn't have any of the great technology we do today.

I like the two tone of the mines spoiler but not the fact that it looks like 2 pieces put together (which it is). To combine the theme of the mines spoiler with the black valiance and maybe a black z plate frame, I think it will look better to me than original stock color.

Like I mentioned in my earlier post. If the z spoiler came with the two tone pattern I will be painting it, you would think it was another cool thing that adds to the allure of the car.

I've always believed anything can be fixed on a car, it wouldn't be a hobby if we didn't try different things. There is no risk as the spoiler needed to be painted either way.
