clearbra cleaner?

1 Attachment(s)
My car just hit 12345 miles today with a bad tire mark on my front bumper.
I was going 65mph on dallas tollway, and the car in front of me had a flat tire and one piece of the tire flew to my front bumper, in result make a tire mark.

I immediately went to coin wash to remove it, but it did not work.
I got a quote from a local clearbra shop to replace the damaged area, and it was $200, which is my last option.

Does anyone have similar issues with me and hopefully knows how to remove it?
Thanks!

Did you try using a clay bar? You can also try using a polisher with a low cut polish.

Rain X works too :)

I was told to use Plexus to clean the clear bra. I have not used it yet but it might be worth a try.

Have you tried Goo Gone?

Clay bar might work. I had a lot of rubber marks on my clear bra after a track day and I was able to get them all of with a clay bar. Just be carfull not to rub to hard as you might scratch the clear bra. Yes, I know that from experience as well...

Next time use a good paint sealant every 4ish months on your car and bra and it would just wipe right off.

Ok.. for those who will stuck into same problem with me... here is the solution
use Acetone (nail polish remover) and buff about 3,000 times.

Oh yea.. if you have a buffer, it will be much easier

side effects: headache from the smell of Acetone, and it feels like i've done bicep and tricep work out 2 days in a row!

Cleaning Clear Bra

Avoid Plexus or any product containing Petroleum distillates like kerosene, naptha, toluene, or zylene. They will cause urethane films to discolor. The products dry out the film over time and open up the pores, essentially turning it into a big dirt sponge.

Every brand of film has their own specific care instructions, as many of the top coats vary greatly. Some cleaners work on some that will not work on others, just as some can be buffed, where others can't.

Check with the manufacturer of your film, as many of them offer a specific cleaner.

In the interest of full discolsure, I work for a film company.
