I think I'm going to take the plasti dip off soon and just spray paint them....sigh...

No I haven't, but it will work on both. Problem is, the rear valence area might get too hot because of the exhaust. Front will be fine.

Can this be done over a clear bra? i was going to get one installed this weekend and was curious as to doing it after?

I'm not sure about a clear bra, but you could try in on a small area. It should just peel right off.

Where you're going wrong is you're not following the lines of the car. You have to follow the upward and swooping line that is the gap between the front fender and door. Forgive my awful paint skills...

It needs to follow the windsheild curve at the bottom to the side windows.

Here's another perspective if you need it, I think this is really the best way to tie the A pillars into the rest of the car. What do you mean by making it equal with the windshield?

Wow that is beautiful. If I had a white car I would totally do the stripe down the hood. :) The actual looks good too but I really dig that stripe.

Exactly. I think it would look great like that.

Yes. I'm going to re-do the plastidip today like this.

Re-done. Still not 100%...I'm lazy, but content.

Ok so I redid the plasti job and brought it to the bottom of the side mirror. This is how I'm going to have it done. The problem with this is I can't get the line to curve with plasti-dip. Once I have my bodywork guy work on it he will make sure it is perfect, and follow the lines of the hood----->side mirror. Other than the fact that its not 100% lined up, I'm happy with it and will be getting it painted gloss black, to match the gloss of the paint and the windows/windshield. Once painted like that it will be more subtle like the GT-R and stick out a lot less than the matte finish of the plasti-dip.

This angle is the best IMO. Looks mean from the back/side angle.

Good job Carey. You're making me want to try this. Especially since it just comes right off if you mess up.
