Ohio Clear Bra/Tint Shop Recommendations?

Just like the title says, any of you living in the Buckeye state have any recommendations for shops around the Columbus (Franklin County), Ohio region?

:eekdance:

Hey LiquidZ,

I have not gotten my Z yet (come on, August, get here!!!!), but I asked a fellow Ohioan (alan93rsa) for that too, since I am planning on doing it, and here's what he said:

Food for thought. I just got a clear bra installed last weekend. I gotta take it back tomorrow so they can redo the mirrors and hood. One of the mirrors had a fingerprint the other did adhere just right. The hood had a tiny piece of scrap film that got trapped at the time of application. I couldnt tell when I got the car back for it was getting dark. I noticed it when I inspected it in my garage. when I took the car in (SAT around 3pm) they had just finished a Porshe and it was flawless. I was blown away. This time Im going to take it asoon as they open the shop and not on a weekend when they are swamped with work or in a hurry to go party!!LOL Im mean if your gonna drop 500 on it, i should be flawless. I called them the next day. The shop said they have a lifetime warranty and I can take it back every six months and get a new one if I want. I will post how it goes tomorrow. Hopefully it doesn't rain. Its been flooding here in Houston.

Hey tonmed,

Thanks for the info, very interesting. I have ordered a hood and fender kit from InvisibleMask for my wife's Mitsubishi Outlander that I will attempt to install myself, and will report back with pics and impressions.

LiquidZ, you're welcome to come over and watch me succeed (hopefully) or flounder (hopefully not ;)) once I get it :)

No prob. Miguez. Ok I got my car back. Is turns out that I got a new sheet of clear bra for the hood. They said the sheet had a defect that made it look like the hood had a chip in it but it didnt. The mirrors that's a tricky issue. Turns out that if the film on one of them was stretched to much it can develop tiny stretch marks that look like a finger print that will not be noticed until you get five inches from the mirror. I guess the installer didnt get the mirror film center on the first try and had to tug it off a little before setting it. A extra pair of hands maybe wise to have when you get to the mirrors.

Im sure its probably been posted elsewhere on here, but what is the cost to get the Z tinted? I was prob gonna go with a 35% tint if that makes a difference
