debadge front bumper

putting my z in the shop monday to get the front bumper fixed (cracked from previous owner) and get fangs painted satin black as well. im debating if i should debadge the emblem on the front bumper and fill in the holes or just order a new emblem. i think it would look good, anyone do this? photoshop?

comments and opinions welcome

If you have a few bucks kicking around, I would buy a new front bumper, that way it will be debadged and you have an awesome new bumper for your car.

I know there's one guy that did. I love it too. A little search you can find it. Since your having that much work done, go for it. It's a clean look. Post pics.

i wanted to do this, however i got some ridiculous prices ($500-$700 per emblem!).

that's what i said. the body shop(s) said its really tedious to get the paint to not look darker where the badge was. Also, they said they would need to repaint the entire bumper.

It would need to be blended in but not a whole repaint. Place around town wanted 100 per emblem.

i would do it in a heartbeat if it were 100 per emblem. I would be nervous about the quality for only $100 however.

be careful it could back fire on u as if it isnt filled and done properly, it could leave a huge ugly scar where the old engraves where be careful

Stells, we need pics now that it's done. Also find out a price for me and what was used to fill in the hole.
