Is it me or is the delrin shift knob seem much smaller in person than in pics? If it is just me, do one of you mind measuring how long the shift knob is?

Has anyone ever gotten the stock knob off without destroying it??

Had the dealership loosen the shift knob for me

So whats the weight like compared to the stock shift knob? Heavier? Lighter?

IMO, i think the stock knob is little heavier. but once you have it on, you cant really tell.

when i got mine, i thought it was a joke. but once i installed it, it look taller and bigger then the stock knob. If i remembered correctly, i measured the knob with stock and they were the same height, but the stock one was fatter.

looks great do you have a titanium base?

Yep! I thought it would go nice with the other silver accents inside. The black one looks nice too though.

I wish they made the washer thing on top of the knob made out of derlin, it was extremely hot in a hot day.

Put my trans back in the other day. Here is the silver with titanium colored base.

Have a quick question, I'm looking to buying a used z, and the prev owner installed a cheap aftermarket knob. It's the screw on type that's held by Allen screws. One thing I noticed was the shift boot was hanging off the knob, how do you get it back on the bottom of the knob?

Also I was hearing some rattling from the shifter when going into high rpms, might be from the loose shift boot.
