Rear tow hook?
 

So searched a little and couldnt find anything about it. Yesterday i was at my buddies motorcross track and some kids quad broke down. So me being the funny guy i am decided i wanted to tow it w my car lol. So i take my tow hook out of the trunk go to put it in the place that i thought the tow hook would go (being the little square thing about the fake light on the rear bumper) and nothing.. Just metal and no threads of any sort. So my question is... Did i miss something? or so we not have a spot for the tow hook in the rear?

the actual pull loop is on the driver side.

The two hook on the back of the vehicle is a metal bracket attached to the body. Look underneath and on the driver side you will see the black loop. The tow hook you are talking about screws into the front of the vehicle on the passenger side on the grille opening behind the black plastic cover. Check your owners manual for diagrams.

The manual says that black loop is for tie downs and should not be used for towing. The manual says that when towing the vehicle, the rear wheels should not be on the ground, but they supply us with no rear tow hook, what the hell? We just have to hope the tower has a dolly to place under our rear wheels while it's being towed from the front?

huh, that's odd. i wonder if the tiedown can be used to pull the car short distance (a few yards) so that one could flat bed it?

I found this on ebay. It says it can supposedly fit the 370z. Has anyone tried something like this? if so, where doe sit attach to our cars?

Also saw these. Anyone know anything about these rear tow hooks and our cars? Some tracks require front and rear tow hooks so it got me looking into it.

yah, but these usually mount to the 'tie down's you mentioned.... if one's not suppose to use that for towing not sure if you want to put that on there.

well, for decoration im sure it's okay...
