Stillen license plate frame : size confusion !

Hi all,

I have to buy a stillen license plate frame (got a ticket) and I am confused with the diameter size ! I could not be sure if the value is 22mm or 24mm, so can you tell me what is the good value to order ?

I have a 09' Touring Sport package, not a nismo one.

Thanks.

I'm looking to buy the same front plate too JapanLio, but wow. $72?!?! Seriously? For that price, I might as well buy the retractable front plate device.

not meaning to thread jack, but how the heck do you get a ticket for no license plate frame? i can see getting one for no front license plate at all, but the frame of all things? i live in southern california and have never heard of such a rediculous law.

He got the ticket for no plate. He wants a stillen so he doesn't drill holes in his bumper for the pplate bracket.

lol, kinda figured thats what he meant, but to short of sentences can be confusing if you dont think about what is being said carefully :)

Yes, I got a ticket for no license plate. I am living in the bay area, but I drove down to San Luis Obispo and at the end of the 101 (the slope going down to SLO), I was caught by the cop driving at 76 instead of 65... in this slope, it's really SILLY to catch me for that ! Anyway, I did not have the ticket for speeding but for the missing front license plate.

I'm living in the Bay since nearly 4 years and I've never had this issue, but apparently outside the bay it might be a different story.

Arc, the stillen is plug n play, and that's what I need. I dont think I'll keep it, it's just to go and show to the cop that I have one.

I know the Stillen plate is removable which is cool, but it is pricey for what you get.

I just put my front plate in the window, though that may not work too well.

I was thinking of just just using two zip cords to tie the front plate to the lower grill.

Nothing seems to look right without either messing up the bumper or costing alot.

I just need something cheap that hooks into the front grill to hold the plate in.

The stillen is still cheaper than a ticket.

But it blocks the airway. Bad on really hot days.

I haven't had any engine heating problems. And I live in el paso where it gets hot and stays hot.
