Pear White - Rock Chips. What Color Primer?

Car is very new...no chips yet. BUT, when I do get them what color is the primer under the white paint?

Thanks! :tiphat:

Maybe you should consider clear bra? I wish I would have done that when my car had no chips.

Nissan paint is so thin by the time you put the primer on then base coat and mid coat the paint chip will be higher than original paint.

You remembered...

I've been looking at clear bras. Very concerned with it turning yellow on my pearl white. I've spent quite a few hours reading about it. None of my friends have one on their rides including my roomates's new M3. I didn't get one on my S2000 and the front bumper does have a decent amount of rock chip damage, but it's not horrible. Still looks good from a few feet away. Not sure if Nissan paint is much different.

It kind of reminds me of people putting plastic on their couch. Or wrapping a tv remote, computer keyboard, etc. :roflpuke2:

Also, no sure how hard a clear bra is to remove if needed. If I were to do it I would only clear bra the font bumper.
