20% on sides and back. Nothing on the front.

Tinting anything forward of a B-pillar is a ticketable offense where I live. I'm definitely going with 0% for the rear window and rear quarter glass. Trying to decide if I'm going to tint the front and windshield. If I do, it'll probably have to be something like 80% to avoid attracting too much attention.

Just got my side windows tinted today. They had 55% and 35%. Was thinking about 55, so glad I went 35. :happydance:

The tint definitely adds to the overall appearance of the Z. Looks super!

for those who have the front windshield top strip tint, does it really help with blocking out the sun? do you find yourself ducking to look through the glass, since it feels like the glass is a bit smaller?
Also what type of tint film does everyone have metallic, ceramic, hybrid, etc? Im looking to see which tint film is best. |
I am kinda reviving a dead thread I suppose, but this is mine. 20% on sides and rear. It's a ceramic tint.

LOL! Be neat to know how many people from CA that posted pics of their 5% and lower received citations and how much they had to pay out. Wish the laws were like Florida here

Bought my Z like this. Not sure of the tint % but I'm very happy with it. Also has the sun strip tint.

Anybody have any issues with the DOT matrix on the front windshield behind the rearview mirror, any solutions to fix the tint there that looks bubbly? Thanks
