Look at what I got today! installation was easy. had to remove the tach ring by lifting up on the center cover and removing two screws to put this cover in place and then replace the screws without loosing them in the dash but it only took 5 min to do then the shift ring I had to remove the factory one and replace with the carbon fiber one but again 5 min to do. I did however have to go out and purchase some double sided tape since it was not in the kit to hold the two pieces beside the tach ring but otherwise the kit is awesome to look at and fit is spot on. even better than the pictures show. It matches great with the steering wheel I purchased from tony a few months back. All in all I am very pleased with the product and the fit is almost factory finish especially since it basically snaps in place over everything. More pics are in my photo album if anyone wants to see.

Nice Job AJ:tup:

Congrats sir, glad you happy with our product,:tiphat:

But just to clarify, we didn't provide double tap, cause some of the parts will just clip on, and the rest we recommend to have them fitted with silicon, simply cause the fittment of our products is soo tight that a double tape might show a slight gap.

Thank you for your business.

As far as the tape I am not concerned about what so ever. Like you said with the fit being so tight I made sure I found the thinest out there to ensure the fit remained proper. The quality of the kit is top notch and everything did just clip into place. I love the kit and would buy again in a heartbeat so let me know if you plan to make anything else in this realm. Again great job! I highly recommend these guys for their products and I would rep you again if it would let me. Thanks again.

Since you got the red...

How would it look in a red car? It's always hard to tell from a pic / monitor if it's close or not.

I did the red because I wanted a contrast with the black and silver, but with a red car IMHO I would do more of a silver personally because the red CF is darker in color that the red that comes on the car but again a personal preference. All I can say is you cannot go wrong with these guys because they do great work.

A.J@CarbonSignal 09-26-2011 12:54 PM

Thanks for the review Kelly.

These kits are carefully inspected and test fitted by myself and Naj before its shipped to customers. I'm glad everything went smoothly. Looking forward for more customer feedbacks

[QUOTE=docaam;1330021]Looks sick!! I live the silver touch on head unit part.

The silver was part of a dash kit I got 80 bucks i think. Did not like all of the pieces they sent but did like the parts for the head unit and around the nav buttons and around the seat heater buttons because the all black made everything blend in to much.

Why don't you get GTR start button?

Quit giving me ideas, I was thinking the same thing and now that you say it just reinforces the thought.

Hey Naj, does the tachometer bezel just slip on then? Also, my kit was delivered to my mailbox but I didn't get out of class early enough to pick it up. I will grab it first thing tomorrow and will install it shortly after!

I dont want to step on Naj but I can help answer this. the bezel to get in on because of steering wheel cover on the back the plastic is so close I could not slip it on. So I lifted the plastic cover that covers the tach which will pop up with little effort and saw two screws on the top of the bezel. I removed them being careful not to drop them into the dash and just pulled the factory bezel cover off and then put the carbon fiber piece over it and then put it all back in replacing the two screws. It is a tight fit and it will hold itself in place. I am not sure if you can remove the black cover behind the steering wheel but if you can you would be able to put the cover on without the removal of the screws. everything in the kit is such a tight fit that it remains in place with no issues. the only part that I can see you using the silcone like Naj said is the two pieces that go over the buttons on the cluster. I just used a thin double sided tape to ensure they dont come off when driving and fall out of the car just as a piece of mind. But again the fit is so tight this would be a slim possibility. I just thought better save than sorry.

Thanks kellyefields :tiphat:

What I can suggest for the installation is:

window switch, three hats and two small pieces behind the speedo should be installed with very little silicone as it can be removed later on . We suggest to put silicone mainly on the corners,

Gear shifter: manual has such good fitment it can be simply replaced with the stock one or on top of stick without any silicone, same goes for the auto but should be on the stock one and if needed some silicone.

Tachmeter cover can be done easily as kelly suggested by lifting the top cover, you need to push the lower edge behind the steering wheels cover though. It better if you can lift the steering cover a small part to slide the bezel in. If someone wants adventure then you can open the cover behind the steering wheel, the screws can be open from down but two other covers needed to be removed. All will take maximum 10 minutes. We suggest to put very little silicone one on top and two on the side

the whole kit should take 15-20 minutes of installation time and first timers should be able to do it easily.

Calvin 09-27-2011 01:48 AM

how much is the gear shifter ?
