Very nice

Thanks, I see a few people here have a 5 point harness, how come you don't go for 6 point? I thought 5 point was for camel toe LOL.

The 6 point setup is harder to install properly is probably the only real reason.

The only difference is 1 more additional eye bolt through the floor and insanely big washers no?
|
That and the location is different, the angles are different.

I have 2 Red Status Ring FRP FIA approved brand new for sale with 2 Bride FO rails that will sit at or lower then stock height for sale...
Just got them in and the wife likes the stock Nismo seats better for fitment..... |
Hi guys, or a question regarding the recaro profi spa carbon Kevlar
I have a question regarding this seat. Does antibody know if this seat will fit or rub the door? In addition, what seat rails would give me the lowest seat height ? Or will it always be higher than stock? Thanks in advance, Jay |

Reclinable or non reclinable is my dilemma.

My Sparco seats
http://www.the370z.com/members/kevr6...or-10-2012.jpg |
Here's an update to my seats: I pulled out the fixed back Sparco Pro 2000 seats and installed Bride adjustables and Takata Drift II harnesses. I had the Drift IIIs at first, but the IIs just work better/easier for me. I chose these harnesses because I wanted Takata's that are street legal in Europe and the US. I also took out the OEM bar in the back and installed Robispec's chassis/harness bar, which I wrapped the Takata's around.

If I get bride stradia ii and bride RO rails how much lower than stock will it be? Also stock seat belt will work? And last question, does seat have any adjustability besides the back?

I would hope firedan50 above could chime in on height compared to stock... Also if he is using MO-rails |
I have the Stradia's
I have the Bride Stradia II Sport's with the bride rails and they are 1.25" lower than stock. They weigh exactly the same as the stock seats and rails by the way, and make sure you don't have more than a 32" waist. They hold you in place great though, and the thigh bolsters aren't annoyingly large like the Gias. Only the back adjusts for tilt, no other adjustments, and the rails slide of course front to back. I purchased mine thru RavSpec and I got the RO rails.

I threw on some Cipher Auto seats before SEMA. Not bad considering the price point ($700-800/set). You will have to fabricate your own brackets as I couldn't find ANY that would fit. I don't know how they would hold up on real track use...but for show, they've been great

for all the bride questions, depending on the seat there are different rails. someone said RO for Gias/Stradia and it drop 1-2 inches (someone measure 1.25). You can also get the regular or super low cushion for the drop. you can use the oem seatbelt though it might require a bit of ingenuity to figure out where to bolt clip down. there are more than just the bride and stradia, I'm somewhat partial to their new Euroster seats

Great thread, which leaves me more confused then ever....
Plan on some Autocross this year, and want a little more support... but on this on height drives me up a wall and is my biggest fear 6'3" about 220, so with a helmet it gives me some concern, but all this helps... Thanks everyone for there comments |

I can just see over the hood on the highest setting on touring seats, I'm 5"8, I don't think Stradia IIs are a good idea for me.......?
|
Thinking about ordering the Bride Stradia IIs.. anyone about 6'3 around 210lbs have them? 34-36inch waist.

Good seat, definitely gave me (6'4") a little bit more head room and I felt comfortable in them. Not sure I could do a 4 hour drive in them but never got to adjust them that much. I am 6'4" and 200lbs with a 34-36 waist, my bigger problem are my thighs that get a little pushed together but after sitting for awhile the seat slowly forms to you. |
Bumping this thread.. Just got these in about a week ago.. Bride Vorga.
http://i.imgur.com/Nq7CwOTl.jpg?1 http://i.imgur.com/zMyc0Sql.jpg?1 These things are super comfortable. I'm a bigger dude and can fit comfortably in these. The low bolsters mean they don't dig into your thighs on long trips or make it a pain to get in and out of the car. But they have enough good upper body supports on the sides to keep you in place. |
^ Nice Brides!! You make me want to get some Brides as well..
How well do they "hug" you compared to the stock seats? |

Any details on the seat rails? I'm 6'1" and need something lower or same height as the stock seats. |

I've been too lazy to take pics, but I just got in some Sparcos. An Evo for me, and an Evo-II-US for the passenger side (to fit a wider array of instructors and riders). I've test-fitted the Evo-II-US, and can confirm it does barely fit in our car and doesn't hit the door plastics. It's tight though, and you may end up having to mod the seat belt receiver mount if you're using stock belts. I also had to mod (heat + bend) Sparco's slider handlebar to make it a little wider (it only works using the inner holes of the seat base, and for this seat you have to use the outer holes, which sets the tracks further apart), but otherwise the Sparco base + sliders + sidemounts worked for this. The Evo-III almost certainly wouldn't fit without hitting something, if it even makes it onto the base ok.
