UAM JGTC Style Fenders Teaser...

2 Attachment(s)
I know many of you are excited and love our new Fenders! Well, we are not stopping there!!! We have a new design that will be going on the White dragon in full carbon fiber. I was going to wait to release any info on this but I figured what the hell give you guys something else to contemplate... This will be a WIDE fender. We are debating on how wide as we will have to make a univesal adapter for front bumpers.

Without further anticipation here is a teaser rendering:

I know people will be concerned about rock chips so we will be offering a clear vinyl overlay to help protect your fenders when these go on sale. Pricing on these will not be available until mine are finished. Iwill keep you guys updated on the progress!

VIVA LA UAMOTORSPORTS!!!!:happydance:

bullitt5897 03-22-2011 12:41 PM

just don't like how it basically looks like you hated on half of the fender, and just lopped it off wholesale. the design flow is all gone.

bullitt5897 03-22-2011 01:25 PM

Some will like it some will not. These will be aerodynamically functional fenders. When partnered with a functional front diffuser they will help with underbody airflow and help generate downforce. Also, invade you haven't noticed the 370z has a soft side profile line. These fenders follow that line and help pronounce the natural lines of the car. Like I said this won't be for everyone. However, this is geared toward the hardcore Z fans who want performance and styling. Right now we are planning on making these in a 25mm wider version. The widest available fender on the market.

kenchan 03-22-2011 01:34 PM

hummm... car looks broken.

I think thats the worst body addition I have ever seen for any car. IK you guys can do much better. Back to the drawing board! Ik you guys can come up with something really sweeet! :)

W.O.W. 370Z 03-22-2011 01:52 PM

Seems out of place and doesn't look like it will flow.

RCZ 03-22-2011 02:42 PM

Thats gonna be a little too hardcore for most.

Jamaica 03-22-2011 02:47 PM

Its a very aggressive Fender. Unique and stands out! This is going to be our 2 of 4 fenders coming out this year. Keep it going MIKE!

:iagree: The only invading Bullitt needs to worry about is Phelan breaking into his bedroom for moar pillowz :icon14:

:icon17:

NewYorkJon34 03-22-2011 02:51 PM

he loves his man pillows

Waiz 03-22-2011 02:58 PM

Front rendering looks good, I like the out of the box thinking.

Hopefully you guys have some plans for the rear so that it can balance the look.

bullitt5897 03-22-2011 03:11 PM

Yeah my iPhone auto corrected and put invading lol. It was the word incase. Also you guys will have to understand this is a rendering and will probably be one of those items that you will have to wait and see. This style was a huge hit for te s2000 crowd and I know it can be for our community. There have been people that I have explained the concept and shown them on their cars where the lines were have all loved the idea and the drawings. This is a teaser thread and I will do an official release thread once they are done and on the car.

I love those fenders....

XwChriswX 03-22-2011 03:31 PM

Bullitt, since these are a wider fender than stock, will the lines still patch up with the stock front end/doors? Or will you be looking for a wider front kit also?

COLDSHOT 03-22-2011 04:13 PM

no thanks

bullitt5897 03-22-2011 04:17 PM

We will be making a universal adapter that you can attach tou your front bumper that will line up the correct widths. The fenders will slim down to oem width toward the doors. This fender will showcase the wideness and curves of the car. For those asking about a rear fender me and Andrew have talked about that several times and I think I may have a few solutions but it may require professional install and/or body work.

XwChriswX 03-22-2011 04:22 PM

Damn! I was hoping it would make you have to lose your Zele kit :stirthepot:

bullitt5897 03-22-2011 04:39 PM

hahaha chris you crack me up!!!

Red__Zed 03-22-2011 05:27 PM

Very intense. Not really my style but a cool look nonetheless.

3SeventyZ 03-22-2011 05:39 PM

Interested to see how they turn out.

370z TT 03-22-2011 07:58 PM

Is it possible to make a bodykit similar to that for the 370z because it could actually be functional and it would be a wide body kit

370Z JT 03-22-2011 09:44 PM

So many options for fenders. Good job fellas.

I also like the fenders from the blue wide body NSX. I'll see if I can find a pic.

370z owner 03-22-2011 11:07 PM

stole my wing =(

KaienZ34 03-23-2011 12:24 AM

Looks cool, something like the amuse superleggera 350z.

Mr&Mrs 03-23-2011 04:11 AM

Looks great and for people looking for function this will serve them well. I'm glad to have some sponsors stepping outside of the current box the 370 is stuck in. Keep it up!

StealthZ 03-26-2011 08:03 AM

This set matched up with sides like those of the 599XX where they come up to cover a part of the opening would look dope

docaam 03-26-2011 08:19 AM

Nice aggressive design, would love to see the final outcome.

dnasty370z 03-26-2011 09:29 AM

ehh not my cup of tea whatever floats your boat :shakes head:

370z TT 03-26-2011 09:35 AM

This is a bit off topic, but do you guys plan on making a functional rear diffuser anytime soon?
