Custom/retrofitting projectors

Has anyone done any kind of work with projectors? Like clear lens swap/retrofit? My friend got a TL recently and he did a lens swap on his projectors and his output/cutoff are SICK! I heard FX have good projectors to retrofit too. Do we have the same ones?

If you've modded your projectors, can you post some pictures please?

I searched the forum and didn't find any threads on this.

I don't think anyone on this board has done it.

We did this on a G37 sedan, which uses the same projectors as the 370z's. The TSX-R or FX-R lenses would not fit. You need to use the STi-R lens which is 2.8", appose to TSX/FX lenses which are 2.5".

We will have 2.8" STi-R lenses available sometime around summer for sale at a cheaper price compared to Retrofit Source.

It seems like a great upgrade, but before and after shots are a must ;)

Love the s2k pros.

I was reading that the STI-Rs are a 3in projector. So they are a 2.8??

Do you have any before/after pictures? You did the swap with STi-R lenses?
