Questions about 370z front and rear bumpers

I was thinking about getting 09-11 Nissan 370Z AMS Body Kit for my z,
and it would cost me around $1600 for the whole package. However, i believe it has to be repainted before install on the Car. Do you guys think that's worthy?

Here is the website for the AMS body kit
09-11 Nissan 370Z AMS Body Kit

However, i found the front and rear bumper from powerhouse amuse will cost $3100+
370ZTUNE.com

Could any one tell me the why the prices are so different, Please?

370Z JT 03-02-2011 11:27 AM

Buy it from a vendor here. Might be cheaper.

Yes from the forum, it won't be cheaper but guarantee fitment. Noone bought it from AMS because they don't have pics of their product but Instead a random pic of the amuse on the Internet

The AMS kit is a knock-off of the Powerhouse Amuse kit. 370zTune is selling the the real deal original from Japan. Check out Simota1's thread below. He just got the "replica" kit.

Guys thanks for mentioning us!

Jamaica was the source for the original CF accented amuse replica kits. before that you had to spend $4k+ even on the group buy I think the lowest price was $3800 without the wing from 370zTune. If you have the money get the real deal! If not give us a shout and we can hook you up with a deal!

Every dollar spent with UA Motorsports allows us the ability to innovate and bring new products to you guys! For you regulars thanks again!

i went on the 370ztune it cost 1550 for both the front and rear bumper 1200+for the skirt. that is way out of my budget. also, they all need to be painted again. i would rather spend money on you guys..

Mr&Mrs 03-02-2011 08:22 PM

Hey cmike thanks for posting the link for him. I was not at the computer when he asked, and did not think to put it up when I mentioned it.

No problemo!

A.J@CarbonSignal 03-02-2011 11:02 PM

AdamX, I've just responded to your request in the other thread.

When it comes to Amuse kit its a no brainer that you can save a bunch of $$ and buy the replica kit from us which is near perfect fitment, not to mention we offer the cheapest rates you can find. KaienZ34, Simota1, docaam are few of our customers who bought the whole kit and are happy with their purchase.

the real ones are little bit beyond my budget if i want to get the whole set.
plus hopefully there won't be major differences between the real and replica ones..

Other than the fact that you support companies that profit off other businesses designs and hard earned research?

If you can't afford it, don't buy it.

I don't know if your familiar with ARC and their history, but they recently filed for bankruptcy. There are tons of companies out there that are copying their parts and selling them for nothing and it's the exact same thing that is going on here.

Sad but true... to each their own I guess.

:shakes head:

well there is nothing you can do about it.
i have only two options 1. get the factory ones
2. get replica ones

as long as the prices fits i will go with the second.
and i dun really care about being ethical or not.
when you are living in a real world, money rules.

P.S. we are way off the thread.
