Ok, I just got home so I can answer these questions and not be texting while driving.

here is what happened in a nut shell. We have been scouting several kit manufacturers to build our kits for us because we dont have the machinery to do it ourselves. Andrew stopped by one of the manufacturers and those pictures were a sample they showed Andrew. Andrew liked it and decided to post it up from his phone on our account. Andrew was also going to make an announcement on our kit but like I stated earlier I am unhappy with it. And if I am unhappy with it I know you guys will be unhappy with it!

As far as our kit goes I am not going to post the prototype as we have already had some of our ideas copied when we post them. We will however, give you guys an updated rendering of what our kit will have evolved into. I am still working on the rendering so expect to see it soon. You can make suggestions to the rendering and we will take that into consideration before we go to mold.

thanks,

Mike

I think it looks good, don't change a thing on the rear

Thank You.

Agreed.

If you're going to put your :twocents: about "how much you hate replicas" or "topics that's NOT the original topic", no need to post here. Make a new thread about how much replicas depress you. If needed, I CAN close the thread or Mike close the thread if you like and re-open it when you have something new to share. Thanks

Prototype or not, the rear looks really good. I wouldn't change a thing, unless you wanted to add some sharp "fins" to the diffuser section. If not, I'll still be a customer

Keep us posted Mike

anything coming soon on this yet?

bullitt5897 01-24-2012 06:56 PM

We are going through a redesign.

Mike

A good quality product takes time. :D

SPOHN 01-24-2012 07:21 PM

Thanks for the PM

Redesign how? Give the forum some details ;) that last design looked pretty good :/

bullitt5897 01-25-2012 10:29 AM

The rear diffuser is undergoing a redesign. I am contemplating a new bottom fog/brake light in favor of a more functional diffuser. The side scoops are getting totally redesigned.

And btw no one outside UAM has seen our rear bumper yet. Jon, I think you may be referring to the pics that were posted and then removed by our request since they were not our product.

Mike

Soooooo, is UA ever going to release any products? It'd be nice to have another option out there other than the one other company making custom parts.

And it'd be nice to not wait till the 390z comes out before we can have actual options for the 370.

We posted in other threads that the new design is going into prototyping and we hope to have the kit out this spring.

The 350z veil side kit was one of my favorites maybe can do a mockup prototype with the 370? I would pay money for that :).

Speaking of 350z kits the Do-Luck is sweet still to this day

xgrudgex 03-14-2012 10:31 AM

no updates yet....?

Omikron 03-14-2012 11:11 AM

You might check out the UAM facebook page... just sayin ;)

kuriz32 03-14-2012 11:45 AM

So UAM stole the design of the BenSopra GT-R widebody kit and put it on a Z? Seriously, something new and original please.

Jamaica 03-14-2012 11:49 AM

When did we steal a design? Please get your facts straight before you come with crazy assumptions. I never knew having a photoshop was actually a crime.

SPOHN 03-14-2012 11:59 AM

I tell you this site is slowly having newbies that don't know jack and don't have anything that adds a worthy cause. Along with them repeating the same questions time after time. Wish we had a site just for premium members.

kuriz32 03-14-2012 12:06 PM

You're posting up a photoshop of a design and asking for opinions regarding possible production. How is that NOT stealing a design?

GaleForce 03-14-2012 12:07 PM

Personally I really like what I have seen on the UAM Facebook page. It looks totally unique to the 370z. I haven't seen another 370z kit like it. Keep up the good work fellas! If you need an early adopter for the front bumper let me know.

Jamaica 03-14-2012 12:09 PM

Again , who said possible production? Lol if you want to stir something up please start another thread but not in here.

Sorry UAM, wasn't trying to bring this drama, was just trying to get some more people to check out the photoshops on your FB page and get some more fans for you... lol.

Anyway, I like what I am seeing, onward and upward :tiphat:

No I appreciate it. You did nothing wrong. We photochop things all the time. I never knew that once someone photochops something its going into production or stealing someones design. But hey theres always going to be people like that want to stir something up.

Overall we are just trying to get this kit finished. WE have alot alot of interest and we are doing our best to get this completed. The exhaust and the front is the last piece for this kit.

Huck 03-14-2012 01:32 PM

So I did a search on facebook for underground alliance and all I found was some karate club. Where's your Facebook?? I want to see the pics!

Sent from my iPizzle using magic and new fangled science stuff.

Bubba 03-14-2012 01:41 PM

I am actually looking for a kit...... what price range are we looking at?
