Extra storage in place of the faux switches

I was considering putting a pocket in place of the faux switches in front of the cup holders? I need somewhere for my phone, wallet, ect. I hate driving with stuff in my pockets.

Has anyone done this? Or can anyone give me some pointers or ideas?

I was thinking maybe making a black box and using hot glue to adhere it to the trim piece or maybe a bag? hmmm....

I use the spot between the e-brake to hold my wallet. My phone goes in the cupholder if I'm charging it.

Someone put an iphone charger/dock there. I would also like to have a space for me to put my phone.. Other than the cup holder of course

you could always put some things behind the passenger seat. Your phone can go in the arm rest compartment as well....any phone calls should go to your bluetooth anyway...if you have the touring :)

If he had the touring, then he wouldn't have dummy switches, but heated seat switches.
