You supply vinyl: $1000 installed
We supply Vinyl: $1700 installed

Here is my STI for reference:

I like this! And there are two major events happening in GA this year for us out of staters so no reason not to at least consider it! (ZCON and ZNationals)

christian370z 02-16-2011 02:35 PM

Those are some good prices too, I was amazed at how expensive it is to get a car wrapped.

Econ 02-16-2011 02:43 PM

What would the turnover time be to have this done...being I live in the northeast and this is my DD

bullitt5897 02-16-2011 03:08 PM

It would take a half day to a full day depending on schedule and the car.

docaam 02-16-2011 03:20 PM

Hey mike, which colour is your STI, is that Oracal?

I just had a meeting with one installer today and he was suggesting satin black from Oracal series but was confused if that would show the curves of the Z, but your STI looks sick :)

I used 3M's Contral tac Matte Black Version 1. It has a slight cross stitched pattern to it. like a chessboard and it works really well. Oracle is a good brand as well.

bullitt5897 02-16-2011 11:27 PM

3M 220 Matte Black Version 3

KaienZ34 02-17-2011 08:24 AM

Damn mike that looks so good. Hell i thought it was painted.

bullitt5897 02-17-2011 09:14 AM

Thanks!

For those looking For Matte Colors I am getting pricing right now. This stuff is hard to come by and took me a few hours of searching to figure out who made it. I knew it was 3M but it is made for Gerber Scientific as a private label brand. The Matte Series is only available through Gerber. I will have pricing available for the Color Matte Vinyl.

bullitt5897 02-17-2011 09:28 AM

In atlanta, GA (east Coast)

Econ 02-17-2011 09:33 AM

how do you repair this "wrap" from dings and chips. And how does it hold up to wear and tear?

Sorry if this has been discussed, but I'm at work and get look around TOO much...

bullitt5897 02-17-2011 09:44 AM

Vinyl is very resilient... The only problem you will have to worry about is cuts. If that happens you just replace the piece of vinyl. If you supply your own vinyl in a 50yd roll you will have enough to do the car twice. This is thick vinyl and it has a 7yr warranty I believe.

Cool. And how is the pain effected in the event you want to get rid of the vinyl eventually

bullitt5897 02-17-2011 10:15 AM

You can simply just peel it off and then clean the car like you would normally do.

Econ 02-17-2011 10:28 AM

Hmmm, decisions decisions

Raven 02-17-2011 12:14 PM

Yes it is 3M CF DiNoc

Raven 02-17-2011 01:48 PM

Thought so. Looks good!!

FuszNissan 02-17-2011 02:06 PM

That looks amazing.

bullitt5897 02-17-2011 02:34 PM

Just did some of my interior pieces in 3M CF DiNoc... It took a couple of hours because I am meticulous and made sure the weave pattern matched and was perfectly straight.
here are some pics from my phone:

Update on Matte Colors!

Gerber no longer makes large enough width for Matte Red or Blue However, I have a solution you guys might like even more!!!!

I can do any color you want in Matte using 3M's 8520 Matte Over Laminate. It will cost extra but you get the fexibility to do any color you want in matte finish. I can also Apply a Matte Finish to your OEM Paint... For the same price as quoted in the OP.

More Options Just for you guys!
